    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an admixture of cement which is excellent in action for enhancing fluidity of cement composition and water reducing properties, etc., by constituting the admixture of cement while keeping the formaldehyde additive cocondensate of specified two kinds of aromatic sulfonic acid alkali metallic salt as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:The formaldehyde additive cocondensate having two components consisting of a component A and a component B is produced by reacting the compd. A (e.g. phenol sodium sulfonate) shown in a formula I (R is H and 1-6C lower alkyl, X is alkali metal) and the compd. (B) e.g. sodium sulfanilate) shown in a formula II (Y is alkali metal) and formalin (C) in alkalinity. Then, an admixture of cement is produced by utilizing this cocondensate as an essential component and blending a thickener and a water-holding agent, etc., in accordance with necessity. When this admixture is added to cement composition, the fluidity thereof is enhanced. Therefore, the degree of water reduction is increased and also transport due to force-feed of a pump is enabled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive improvement of dispersibility simply by carrying out chemical reaction, by subjecting a melaminesulfonic acid formalin polycondensate or a salt thereof to oxidative polymerization at a specific pH and constituting the dispersing agent from the resultant product having a specified molecular weight distribution breadth. CONSTITUTION:This dispersing agent consists of a product, obtained by subjecting melaminesulfonic acid formalin polycondensate or a salt thereof to oxidative polymerization reaction at pH>=7 to and having 6-2mol.wt. distribution breadth expressed by the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to the number-average molecular weight (Mn). A reaction technique accompanied by electron transfer can be normally applied to the above- mentioned oxidative polymerization reaction. For example, a reaction with a peroxide, ozone, light, etc., can be used. The value of the molecular weight distribution breadth can be regulated to a narrow value and the molecular weight can be regulated to a value useful for dispersibility without carrying out fractionating operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an aqueous dispersion stabilizer for a fine particulate inorg. powder having good dispersibility and re-dispersibility by using a water-soluble polymer with a specific mean mol.wt. having a functional group selected from a sulfone group in its molecule. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous dispersion stability for a fine particulate inorg. powder with a mean particle diameter of 0.01-1.0mum is obtained by using a water-soluble polymer having one or more kind of a functional group selected from a sulfone group, a carboxyl group and a hydroxyl group in its molecule and characterized by that a mean MW is 2,000-50,000 and the content of a component with a mol.wt. of 1,000 or less is below 5wt.%. This aqueous dispersion stabilizer shows good dispersibility of a fine particulate inorg. powder and generates no sediment or hard cake during long-time preservation and also has good re-dispersibility.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title admixture capable of giving excellent fluidity drop-off-preventiveness when incorporated into cement, comprising a specific water-insoluble polymer and/or water-insoluble metal complex of polymer and a OH group-contg. water-soluble polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective admixture comprising (A) (A1) a water-insoluble polymer 500-50000 in molecular weight, 0.1-2mu in mean particle size, having in the molecule carboxyl group [e.g., a copolymer consisting mainly of 2-8C olefin (e.g., isobutylene) and ethylenic unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride (e.g., maleic anhydride)] and/or (A2) a water-insoluble metal complex 0.1-20mu in mean particle size, formed from a polymer 500-50000 in molecular weight having in the molecule carboxyl group [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid homopolymer] and a divalent metal (e.g., Zn) and (B) a OH group-contg. water-soluble polymer (e.g., water-soluble starch). The weight ratio A/B is such as to be as follows: 0.1-20 pts.wt. of the component B per pt.wt. of the component A1 and/or component A2.
