The subject matter of the present invention is a motor vehicle door closure, the basic construction of which is equipped with a locking mechanism (1, 2) with a rotary latch (1) and pawl (2), and with a locking unit (3, 4, 5, 6). At least in its "locked" position, the locking unit (3, 4, 5, 6) inhibits automatic opening of the locking mechanism (1, 2). According to the invention, at least in the "locked" position of the locking unit (3, 4, 5, 6) and when the pawl (2) is raised from the rotary latch (1), an additional pawl (3) which additionally comes into engagement or is already engaged prevents the automatic opening of the locking mechanism (1, 2).

The invention relates to a door lock for a motor vehicle, said lock comprising a locking mechanism (3, 4) and a closing/opening mechanism (10 to 18) which impinges the locking mechanism (3, 4) by means of at least one motor drive (10, 11, 12). The invention is characterized in that the motor drive (10, 11, 12) is mounted above an insertion opening in a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the locking mechanism.

The invention relates to a vehicle door latch comprising, in the base structure thereof, a lock (1, 2) consisting of a rotary door latch (1) and a detent (2), as well as a control lever (3) and an electric drive (10, 11, 12, 13). The electric drive (10, 11, 12, 13) allows for electrical opening of the lock (1, 2). A mechanical connection between the control lever (3) and the lock (1,2) can be installed so that the lock (1, 2) can be opened in an emergency. For this purpose, the electric drive (10, 11, 12, 13) is not only responsible for the electrical opening of the lock (1, 2), but also couples the control lever (3) to the rotary door latch (1) and/or the detent (2) in case of an emergency opening.

To this end: the adapter (1) comprises a plug part (3), which interacts with a socket (4) on the housing (21) of the microdrive (2); the adapter (1) has an electrical connecting part (11) in the form of a connector socket (12) or of a connector plug, which is provided for connecting to an electrical connecting element (5). The electrical connecting part (11) has connector socket or connector plug dimensions different from those of the plug part (3) or of the socket (4). The invention also relates to an electrical microdrive with a socket for an adapter of the aforementioned type.

Dieses Schließsystem ist mit wenigstens einem Kraftfahrzeugtürverschluss (5), einem dem Kraftfahrzeugtürverschluss (5) gegenüberliegenden Türscharnier (6) und einem weiteren Schließelement (7) ausgerüstet. Erfindungsgemäß ist das zusätzliche Schließelement (7) in etwa mittig zwischen überwiegend diagonal verlaufenden Biegelinien (4c) eines Türflügels (1a) angeordnet, um zugehörige fertigungsbedingte Verformungen aufnehmen zu können und die Karosserie zu versteifen.

The locking lever can be decoupled from the blocking lever during fast unlocking so that the locking lever can move into its unlocked position. A spring-loaded force-transmitting lever is coupled to the drive so as to, when displaced thereby in one direction, entrain the locking lever for fast unlocking and so as to, when displaced by the drive in an opposite direction, deflect.

A mount for attachment to a window having a pair of faces and a hole extending between the faces has a body adapted to engage one of the faces and having a pin projecting with play through the hole and past the other face, a retainer adapted to engage the other face and formed with a passage snugly receiving the pin, and an eccentric ring engaged in the hole and having an eccentric passage snugly receiving the pin. Formations on the ring and on the retainer are interengageable in any of a multiplicity of angularly offset position of the retainer relative to the eccentric ring and retain the ring against rotation in the hole relative to the bodies. The pin is in a different position relative to the window hole in each of the angularly offset positions. The eccentric ring includes an inner ring having a cylindrical inner periphery forming the eccentric-ring passage and a cylindrical outer periphery having a center offset from that to the inner periphery, and an outer ring having a cylindrical inner periphery engaging the inner-ring outer periphery and an outer periphery directly engaging edges of the window hole.
