Abstract:
Provided is a method in which a terminal receives multicast broadcast service in a wireless communication system. The method for receiving multicast broadcast service comprises the following steps: receiving a dynamic service addition (DSA) message from a base station via a primary carrier; switching the primary carrier into a secondary carrier on the basis of the DSA message; receiving an MBS configuration message (MBS-CFG) from the base station via the secondary carrier; and receiving the MBS data from the base station via the secondary carrier on the basis of the MBS configuration message.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for selectively restoring lost packets in a mobile worldwide interoperability for microwave access(WiMax) are provided to supply seamless video services and keep the existing quality of images. CONSTITUTION: An access control router(ACR) sets the priority of packets based on received priority information and includes a priority manager and a multicast broadcast service(MBS) distributed data path function. The priority manager manages and stores the priority information. The MBS distributed data path function transmits the priority information and the sequence information of the packets to a radio access station(RAS). The RAS includes a priority analyzer and an RAS buffering controller. The priority analyzer confirms the loss of packets received from the ACR and determines the re-reception of lost packets according to the priority information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An information obtaining method of a neighbor base station in a femto cell is provided to efficiently transmit a neighbor advertisement message to a terminal from a femto cell base station. CONSTITUTION: A terminal requests neighbor BS(Base Station) information through an NBR-REQ message(S310). The NBR-REQ message includes an RT(Request Base Station Type) field and a BSID field for BSID(Base Station Identifier). A femto BS(Base Station) analyzes the NBR-REQ message. The femto base station includes terminal request information in the NBR-ADV message(S320).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A terminal and a method for managing the terminal, and a base station and a method for managing the base station are provided to flexibly transmit a paging message to a terminal of an idle mode of a femto base station. CONSTITUTION: A determining unit(210) determines whether a femto base station managing a femto cell that a terminal enters belongs to the same paging group as a macro base station managing a macro cell overlapped with the femto cell. When the femto base station belongs to the same paging group, a ranging code transmitting unit(220) transmits the first ranging code for making an available paging state to the femto base station. A receiving unit(230) receives a paging message from the femto base station.
