PURPOSE: A tap update control device is provided to improve noise level estimation performance by restricting the number of tap update times using simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A feed forward filter(100) filters inputted signal. The feed forward filter outputs the filtered signal to a first adder(120). A feedback filter filters the signal outputted from a decision unit(130). The feedback filter outputs the filtered signal to the first adder. The first adder adds the inputted signals. The decision unit determines the symbol based on the inputted signals.
Abstract:
A performance monitor of the optical signal and a method thereof restoring the optical signal according to the performance of the optical signal are provided to improve the reliability of optical network and monitor the performance of the degraded optical signal at each node. A signal extraction part(100) extracts the signal of the specific wave among the inputted optical signal. A photo-electro transform part(110) converts the optical signal of the specific wave extracted from the signal extraction part into the electric signal. An overhead interpreter(120) determines the performance degradation of signal. According to the interpretation result of the extracted overhead, the controller(130) monitors the performance of the optical signal.

PURPOSE: An adaptive channel equalizer and method thereof are provided to improve the performance of a channel equalizer by increasing the size of a previously distorted part in a transmission end. CONSTITUTION: A first filter(200) eliminates inter-symbol interference components from a reception signal. A first filter(210) eliminates the inter-symbol interference components from a transmission signal. A filter control unit(220) controls the filter coefficient of the first filter and a second filter. The filter control unit detects estimation errors. A two-way signal includes the transmission signal and the reception signal.

PURPOSE: An angled physical contact receptacle stub and an angled physical contact transmitter optical sub-assembly including the same are provided to reduce package costs by improving optical align difficulty. CONSTITUTION: An angled physical contact receptacle stub(100) comprises a first angled physical contact stub(110) and a second angled physical contact stub(120) accepted into a receptacle(1100). One end surface of the first angled physical contact stub is ground in an angled physical contact shape. One end surface of the second angled physical contact stub is ground in an angled physical contact shape. The second angled physical contact stub is combined with the first angled physical contact stub.
