Abstract: PURPOSE: A police work support apparatus and method thereof are provided to support the fast decision of a field worker in a crime scene by providing evidence analysis functions and field information process functions to a portable terminal of the field worker. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) transmits and receives data with a smart server and other portable terminals for outside works. An update processor(120) synchronizes outside work support information with information stored in the smart server through the communication unit. A service management unit(130) manages the operation of a work procedure template and a standard work procedure template for supporting the outside works.
