    Abstract: A user behavior pattern driving apparatus and a method thereof based on an event log generated in a context recognition system environment are provided to utilize an event log based on the behavior pattern of the user in the situation recognition system. An event merging unit integrates the event generated in each subsystem(S501). The event collator prepares a raw event log(S503). An event filter removes meaningless event without effective event from the primitive event log(S505). A behavior vector extracting unit extracts the user ID and the behavior vector about the user location from final event logs(S509). A learning engine builds the user behavior pattern according to a machine learning theory based on post-probability distribution(S511).
