Abstract: PURPOSE: A wireless local area network service providing apparatus using a mobile unit is provided to offer a mass wireless data service to a mobile user by using a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) and an unlicensed bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A transmission and reception unit(630) transmits and receives frames. A processor(610) functionally contacts to the transmission and reception unit. The processor processes and creates the frames for providing a WLAN service. The transmission and reception unit includes plural remote antennas(640). The remote antennas are separated according to moving paths of a mobile unit.
