Abstract: A personal wearable communication system comprises: a base, an acoustic output device carried by the base and a resilient gripping band carried by and extending laterally from the base. The gripping band is curved and has a length whereby a distal end of the band and the base are positionable so as to gently engage generally opposite sides of a user's neck and the acoustic output device rests below a user's ear. The personal wearable communication system also has a microphone carried by an adjustably positionable support arm. The support arm extends from the base.
