Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel capable of preventing a ball spacer from moving, and to provide a method of fabricating the same. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate facing the upper substrate, gate lines and data lines crossing each other on the lower substrate, pixel electrodes formed in pixel areas defined at intersections of the gate lines and data lines, a dummy source/drain electrode pattern over the gate lines, and a ball spacer which is put in the dummy source/drain electrode pattern and maintains a cell gap between the upper substrate and the lower substrate.
