Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the quantity of overhead information to be added to a data packet by reducing the quantity of overhead information relate with a subsequent protocol layers being added to the data packet by multiplexing an Internet Protocol (IP) data packet within a Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) frame. SOLUTION: The quantity of IP data packets which can be multiplexed within the MPLS frame by utilizing a target size is limited and, by utilizing a timer, delay in the transmission of the IP data packets is limited.
