Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a desired hardness, phase separation and holographic characteristics by using an optical recording medium containing a polymer matrix and a system containing a photoactive monomer and capable of optically forming an image and by forming the polymer matrix by a polymerization reaction independent of a reaction by which the photoactive monomer is polymer ized.
