    Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate another terminal (pin) even when a voltage regulator circuit is formed into an integrated circuit form by eliminating connection between a battery anode and the voltage regulator circuit for simplified wiring. CONSTITUTION: This voltage regulator circuit is provided with sensors 19, 20 for supplying an electric signal which indicates current passing through the field winding 5 of a generator 2 at the time of operating, and control circuit 10-15 connected to the sensors 19, 20 so as to operate. The control circuit 10-15 is formed so as to control a transistor 16 for driving the field winding 5, maintain the voltage at the terminal of the battery 1 constant substantially, and change the current supplied to a battery 1 by the generator 2.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the supply circuit of a voltage regulator operate, regardless of a phase signal taken out of a generator winding at the time of the start of the generator by a method, wherein an enable signal is supplied to the supply circuit when the voltage of the terminal of a 1st comparing means exceeds a predetermined threshold. CONSTITUTION: When the engine of a car is started and a current generator 2 starts supplying a current, a drive circuit 13 extinguishes an indication lamp 11. By lowering a voltage applied to a resistor 13b below a reference value, the output level of a comparator 18 turned to Lo. However, when the indication lamp 11 is extinguished, a voltage between the terminal L of a voltage regulator 3 and a ground is elevated and reaches the voltage of a battery 1. Thus, even if the output level of the comparator 18 is turned to Lo, the output level of a comparator 17 reaches Hi, so that the enabled state of a supply circuit 15 can be maintained. With this constitution, the supply circuit 15 of the voltage regulator 3 can be made to operate, regardless of a phase signal taken out of one of the windings of a generator 4 at the time of the start of the generator 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To avoid sudden changes in the resistance torque of an internal combustion engine, when an exciting current applied to the armature winding of a generator is changed by the change of an electrical load, etc., in the recharging system of a vehicle battery. CONSTITUTION: The collector and emitter of a drive transistor (17) are connected in series to a field winding (5), and both the terminals of a battery (1) which is the supply source of a DC voltage (VBA). A sensor means (19) which detects a current applied to a field winding (4) is provided. Control circuits (10-16), which control on/off of the drive transistor (17) according to a value which is determined by comparing a voltage (VA) supplied by a generator (2) with a comparison voltage, depending on a current detected by the sensor means (19), are provided.
