    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and effectively cool a refrigeration chamber and a vegetable chamber by expanding an internal volume of the refrigeration chamber and the vegetable chamber. SOLUTION: The present refrigerator 40 includes a refrigeration chamber 41, a vegetable chamber 43, and a freezing chamber 44 disposed in this order from an upper portion. Herein, a damper apparatus 62 is provided such that an air fan 57 is disposed rearwardly of a low temperature chamber 42 included at a lower portion in the refrigeration chamber 41. An air amount control board 58 is inserted and fixed into a recess portion thereof, and a temperature adjusting section is disposed on a protrusion thereof. As a result, the interior sizes of the vegetable chamber 43 and the refrigeration chamber can be expanded. Further, a cold air fan passage 59 provided on the back surface of the refrigeration chamber 41 and a substantially L-shaped fan air passage 71 are communicated with each other, whereby the inside of the refrigerator is uniformly cooled with a cold air stream from the upper portion and the back surface to reduce uneven temperature distribution.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent water from being sprinkled over a thermostat for a room damper and from flowing into an upstream side discharge port by providing a cover plate whose upstream side is inclined upward and whose downstream side is inclined downward, directly above the upstream side discharge port of a blast duct, and also providing a rib which places the cover plate to prevent the ingress of flowing water, around the circumference of the upstream side discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A cover plate 23 whose upstream side is inclined upward and downstream side and whose downstream side is inclined downward, is placed on a rib 24 provided around the circumference of an upstream side discharge port 16. Cool air which has been delivered by pressure through a blasting duct 15 by a blower 10 flows through a cool air intake port 25 and is controlled of its quantity of supply to a third chamber 8 through an upstream side discharge port 16 by a third room damper thermostat 19 thereby to hold the third chamber 8 at a predetermined value. In this case, by inclining the cover plate 23 with respect to the flow of cool air, the quantity of cool air to be supplied to the upstream side discharge port 16 is increased, and dropping of defrosted water from the upper part into an upstream side discharge port 16 and the flowing in from the surroundings can be prevented by the cover plate 23 and the rib 24 for placing the same.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the ice-making capacity and downsize the refrigerator, by providing one part of the cooler with a recess where a cooling pipe exclusively used for ice making is arranged, and accommodating an ice making pan, and bringing the cooler close to the ceiling of an inner box. SOLUTION: A cooler 23 which is L-shaped and has a recess 22 at its one part is attached, with its inner side to an inner box, being caught on the hook projected from an electrical equipment box 20 attached to the upper right of the inner box 3. In the cooler 23, a cooling pipe 23 to allow a refrigerant to pass is arranged, and in the recess 22, a cooling pipe 13 is arranged directly for concentration from an inlet pipe 24. The cooling pipe 13 passes the remaining face after passage of the recess 22, and goes to an outlet pipe 25, and the refrigerant is returned after compression. Moreover, since an ice making pan 19 is accommodated, with the recess 22 of the cooler 23 as an exclusive place, a refrigerator stable in ice making capacity is made. Moreover, since the cooler 23 can also be brought close to the ceiling of the inner box 3, the downsizing of the refrigerator becomes possible.

The control box 10 is provided with a recess 10d for receiving electric appliances 15 while a step, forming the recess 10d, is provided with a notch 18 while the frame 16 of the electric appliances 15 is inserted to engage the holes 24 with projections 23 and a frame 17 of opposite side is attached to the control box 10 with screws 14.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a high-pressure pipe or an evaporator upon transporting a refrigerator by a method wherein the refrigerator is provided with a compressor fixing plate, to which the compressor and the like are fixed, and an evaporating device protecting plate, protecting an evaporating device consisting of an evaporating pan and the high-pressure pipe. CONSTITUTION:The bottom surface 12a of an evaporating device protecting plate 12, protecting an evaporating device, is horizontal and is in the same plane as the bottom surface 13a of a compressor fixing plate 13, fixed to the lower flange 2a of an outer casing 2. When a refrigerator 1 to transported by a transporting device 14, the own weight of the refrigerator 1 is supported by the bottom plate 14a of the transporting device 14 through the evaporating device protecting plate 12 and the compressor fixing plate 13, which are attached to the lower flange 2a of the outer casing 2 of the refrigerator 1. According to this method, the breakage of the high-pressure pipe 6 or the evaporating pan 7, which is caused by the bottom plate 14a of the transporting device 14, may be eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress rotation of a fan motor until the temperature of a cooler lowers to a prescribed temperature and thereby to simply prevent thawing of frozen food and the like by arranging the fan motor in parallel to a timer interposed between a defrosting end heat sensor of which the heat-sensing temperature is specified and a thermostat. CONSTITUTION:The main body of a refrigerator is divided into upper and lower chambers and a cooler is provided on the deep side with a partition wall of the upper chamber interposed. Around the cooler, a fan motor 9, a radiant heater 12 electrified by a timer 11, a defrosting end heat sensor 15, a temperature fuse 19 and a thermostat 23 are provided. In an electric circuit made up of these devices, the defrosting end heat sensor 15 is set at a heat- sensing temperature at which it senses the lowering of the temperature of the cooler to a prescribed temperature after a cooling operation. The fan motor 9 is arranged in parallel to the timer 11 interposed between the thermostat 23 and the defrosting end heater sensor 15. At the time of a cooling operation after the end of defrosting, according to this constitution, rotation of the fan motor 9 is suppressed until the temperature of the cooler lowers to the prescribed temperature.
