When the fact that an abnormally high temperature is continued for a predetermined time is detected by the sensor 16, an alarm is displayed on the LED.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of an illuminating device of a refrigerator in the case of using a combustible refrigerant. SOLUTION: In this illuminating device 21, a in-storage lamp 29 and a socket 28 are integrated with each other, and a connecting part (a pin 26) to a lead wire 24 is an insert type using a connector 25. The occurrence of spark in lighting due to looseness of a connecting part of the in-storage lamp 29 and the lead wire is prevented to eliminate an ignition source. Accordingly, even if a combustible refrigerant leaks in the storage in the refrigerator using the combustible refrigerant in refrigerating cycle, unsafe condition can be prevented. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower power consumption without the need for using a bedewing prevention heater for a duct by a method wherein chilled air of a partial chamber is returned to a feedback path for the partial chamber and is made to communicate with a vegetable chamber to allow the reducing of the caliber of the duct. SOLUTION: A feedback path 14 for a partial chamber is provided at the rear part of a partition wall 13 of the bottom surface of the partial chamber 12 to introduce chilled air into a vegetable chamber 15. The chilled air is returned to a cooling chamber from the feedback path 16 for the vegetable chamber to be cooled by a cooler and circulated by a fan device. As the temperature of the chilled air introduced into the vegetable chamber 15 from the feedback path 14 for the partial chamber is -5--8 deg.C, there is no fear of dew concentration on the wall of the feedback path 14 for the partial chamber. The internal temperature of the vegetable chamber 15 is 6 deg.C, meaning that the temperature of the chilled air introduced from the feedback path 14 for the partial chamber is lower than this temperature. The higher refrigerating effect thus obtained makes a sectional area of an air path smaller than that when the chilled air is introduced from a cold storage chamber 20 thereby achieving a higher efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a hearing feeling and reduce noise sound by a method wherein a surface facing against a blower and another surface facing against a compressor are connected to each other at a position where a machine chamber is divided into two segments and a sound shielding plate abutting against a bottom plate of an external box is disposed. CONSTITUTION:Air taken by a blower 15 through an air suction port 20 of a cover 19 of a machine chamber at a rear surface of the blower 15 passes through a compressor 16, through a discharging passage 22 composed by a sound shielding plate, a bottom plate 12 of an external box and a main body of a refrigerator, passes over a heating plate 18 and a defrosted water receiving pan 17a. Since a front surface of the machine chamber is closed by an ornamental plate 23, the air flows out in a lateral direction. The machine chamber 13 is divided into two segments. In one segment, the compressor 16 and the blower 15 are disposed on a mounting plate 14. In the other chamber, the heating plate 18 and the defrosted water receiving pan 17 are composing elements. Sound shielding plate 21 disposed at a position where the machine chamber 13 is divided into two segments is disposed concurrently so as to face against the compressor 16 and abutted against a bottom plate 12 of the external box, thereby the air is regulated to flow in one direction by a blower 15 so as to perform a cooling action and at the same time the sound of the compressor 16 is shielded.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To use favorable ice blocks any time by a method wherein a gradual freezing is carried out from an upper surface of an ice making pan and gaseous substances discharged as the ice making is promoted are collected at projections at the bottom surface of the pan. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of water is equally supplied to each of small chambers 40 within an ice making pan 31, a freezing in one direction from the surface of water toward a downward direction under a heat insulating action of a heat insulating layer 28 and a heating action applied by an ice making heater 30 below it with the cold air within a cooling chamber, and then ice crystals are produced while the gaseous substances in the water are being discharged into the lower water. Then, lastly gaseous substances are collected at the projected bottom surfaces 32 of the ice making pan 31, the ice making sensor 37 detects a completion of freezing and then the ice making is completed. After this operation, as a driving device 34 is operated, the ice making pan 31 is reversely rotated to remove ice blocks and then ice blocks in the ice storing box 36. With such an arrangement, it is possible to use the superior ice blocks optionally.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To store an enough amount of large capacity bottles and to increase the cooling speed of the bottles by a method wherein the lower part of a first refrigerating chamber is partitioned by a second lateral partition wall, a low temperature chamber is partitioned from a second refrigerating chamber, and a chamber, i.e., a third refrigerating a chamber, being partitioned by a fourth partition wall is provided. CONSTITUTION:Since a third refrigerating chamber 21 partitioned by a fourth vertical partition wall 20 is provided independently, it can be used as a chamber for exclusively preserving bottles. Further, a third refrigerating chamber 21 is positioned below a first refrigerating chamber 15, and it is favourable in terms of safety with which the bottles are taken in an out. Air intake ports used exclusively are formed in both a second refrigerating chamber 19 and the third refrigerating chamber 21 to ensure desired amounts of cold air. The cooling speed of the bottles is increased, and in a refrigerator body, bottles can be preserved in the exclusive chamber. Since a cold air discharge port is formed directly, the bottles can be cooled more rapidly. Since return cold air from the second refrigerating chamber 19 is returned to the first refrigerating chamber 15 without passing the low temperature chamber 17, the low temperature chamber 17 is prevented from production of unevenness in temperature between places before and after the low temperature chamber by means of return cold air from the second refrigerating chamber 19, and temperature in the lower temperature chamber can be controlled to a proper value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent temperature rise upon defrosting by a method wherein a discharging duct as well as a damper thermostat for regulating temperature, which are exclusive for a defrosting chamber, and a suction duct are provided in a control box arranged on the deep surface of a first refrigerating chamber while the suction duct is communicated with the suction duct for the refrigerating chamber, which is provided in a first lateral partitioning wall. CONSTITUTION:Cold air, discharged into a first refrigerating chamber 28 through a damper thermostat 48a, is returned into a cooling chamber 42 through a cold air returning passage 27a in a first partitioning wall 27. On the other hand, cold air, branched from a cold air discharging duct 45 and discharged into a third refrigerating chamber 34 from a discharging port through a fourth vertical partitioning wall 33, passes through the cold air returining air passage of a second lateral partitioning wall and is returned into another cooling chamber 41 the first refrigerating chamber 28 through the cold air returning passage 27a of the first partitioning wall 27. Further, cold air, discharged into a low temperature room 30 through the damper thermostat, is discharged to the upper part of the vessel 51 of the second refrigerating chamber 32 through a discharging passage 53 provided at the rear part of a third partitioning wall 31.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain a proper conservation temperature, by providing a convection hole for cooling air on a partition plate which divides a refrigerating chamber and a specially designed chamber. CONSTITUTION:A convection hole 21 is provided above and below a partition plate 20 installed between both a refrigerating chamber 7 and a specially designed bottle chamber 8. When a door 10 is opened, the temperature of the specially designed bottle chamber 8 rises, warm air flows in the refrigerating chamber 7 from the convection hole 7. Then, a temperature sensor 15 detects the temperature, and a damper 14 built in a temperature control device 13 is adapted to supply cooling air from a discharge port for the specially designed bottle chamber. It is, therefore, possible to comply with any excessive change in the temperature due to the penetration of outside heat, such as door opening to a satisfactory extent.
