Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking function of high efficiency and to effectively use a cooking function chamber, regarding a refrigerator having the function of cooking foodstuff. SOLUTION: A freezing and melting cooking chamber 1 is disposed adjacently to a refrigerating chamber 14, and a cycle wherein cool air is introduced from the upper side through an air duct 5 to conduct a freezing action for the foodstuff 10 and then a heater 9 provided in the base is made to conduct a heating action therefor is repeated one or more times so as to freeze and melt the foodstuff. Thereby a seasoning material or water is made to permeate into the foodstuff 10. After cooking, the foodstuff can be preserved in a cooled state as it is.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which is high in quality of refrigeration of food items, having a freezing cycle high in cooling efficiency, in a refrigerator equipped with a plurality of evaporators. SOLUTION: This refrigerator has a freezing cycle comprising a compressor 22, a condenser 23, a first evaporator 24 provided in a refrigeration temperature region, a second evaporator 25 provided in freezing temperature region, a first depressurization means 26 provided upstream of the first evaporator, a second depressurization means 36 provided upstream of the second evaporator, and a refrigerant flow controller 27 provided downstream of the first evaporator, and this enhances the freezing cycle efficiency and suppresses the indoor temperature fluctuations and sterilization work so as to raise food refrigeration property, by controlling the refrigerant flow controller 27 with a first evaporator detection means 34 and controlling the compressor 22 with a freezing chamber temperature detection means 37 and reducing the difference in the evaporation temperature between the interior of the refrigerator and the evaporator.
