Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy by suppressing thermal load intrusion inside a refrigerator while preventing moisture condensation in a refrigerator body. SOLUTION: The projected length a of the shape of a double flange 12g, which is formed of a front flange 12a, a front flange folded part 12b, a back flange 12c, a second flange 12d, and a second flange extension part 12e, to an inner box is set within 15 mm. This constitution can reduce the intrusion heat into the refrigerator inside to secure the energy saving and the strength of a heat insulating box body 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigeration system employing combustible refrigerant in which possibility of an unintended accident, e.g. explosion by spark, is eliminated when a power switch is turned on even if the concentration of the combustible refrigerant is not lower than the lower limit of explosion. SOLUTION: A leak detector 8 powered by a low voltage battery 15 detects the concentration of combustible refrigerant in the refrigeration system. If it is not lower than the lower limit of explosion, a low voltage relay is not turned on even if the power switch 7 is turned on and since no spark is generated, an unintended accident, e.g. explosion by spark, does not take place. Since the low voltage battery 15 does not have electric energy for exploding the combustible refrigerant, high safety is ensured.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent temperature drop of a front board and condensation thereon in a refrigerator with improved energy-saving effect by disposing no heat radiation pipes forming a heat source in the refrigerator on a front opening part of the refrigerator. SOLUTION: No front condenser for preventing perspiration is provided on the front opening part of a refrigerator body 17 to suppress invasion of any thermal load into the refrigerator, hard urethane foam 41 is filled inside a partition 18, and a second seal member 46 is provided. Any thermal load in the refrigerator by the heat radiation pipes is eliminated, more energy is saved, transmission of the cold air in the refrigerator to the front board is suppressed, drop of the surface temperature of the front board 40 is prevented, and perspiration of the front board 40 is also prevented. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which the deterioration of lubricating oil, such as the engine oil, turbine oil, refrigerating machine oil, etc., can be detected with high accuracy and a refrigerating system for which whether or not the fault of the system is caused by low-pressure gas leakage can be discriminated. SOLUTION: In the method, the deterioration of lubricating oil is detected with high accuracy by using the characteristic ultraviolet-absorbing peak of a resulted product of deterioration contained in the lubricating oil. Since a low-pressure gas leakage detecting means 6 using the method is provided in the refrigerating system composed of a compressor 1, a condenser 2, an expanding mechanism 3, and an evaporator 4 to detect the quantity of a product of oxidative deterioration of the lubricating oil dissolved in the oil, the presence/ absence of mixed air in the refrigerating system caused by the gas leakage from a low pressure-side pipeline can be confirmed and whether or not a fault is caused by low-pressure gas leakage can be discriminated.
