    Abstract: Ein Abgasrohr 1 eines Motors umfasst ein kurbelförmiges Rohrteil 11, welches eine erste Biegung 11a und eine zweite Biegung 11b aufweist, die Abgas zu einem Mischelement 5 leiten, und ein gerades Rohrteil 12, in welches die zweite Biegung 11b übergeht.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control method and an engine control device which can suppress the occurrence of pre-ignition while keeping the warming-up performance in cold and reducing the NOin diesel particulate filter regeneration when an exhaust valve is opened and main injection, pilot injection and post injection are carried out in an intake process.SOLUTION: In a first operation condition, the exhaust valve is opened and the main injection and the pilot injection and the post injection by which a prescribed quantity of fuel is jetted are carried out in the intake process. In the pilot injection, the prescribed quantity of the injection is reduced on the basis of the quantity of non-combustion fuel in a cylinder. In a second operation condition, the exhaust valve is opened and the main injection and the pilot injection are carried out at the same time in the intake process and the pilot injection is carried out in the prescribed quantity of the injection as it is.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling an engine, which can achieve both NOx reduction and a regeneration treatment of a particulate filter without reducing sealability of an intake valve during regeneration treatment of the particulate filter.SOLUTION: The method for controlling the engine includes: a filter regeneration step of regenerating the particulate filter by applying post injection; an internal EGR step of refluxing a part of exhaust gas into a cylinder by opening an exhaust valve during an intake stroke; a post injection quantity increasing step of increasing an injection quantity of the post injection with the lapse of time from the post injection starting; and an internal EGR completion step of completing the internal EGR step when the temperature of the particulate filter does not reach a predetermined temperature based on a value related to the temperature of the particulate filter at a point time when the injection quantity of the post injection reaches a predetermined value.
