Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of knocking and the reduction in output, by supplying intake air through a bypass passage when such an operating condition as an intercooler becomes a high temperature has been detected. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 19 which bypasses an intercooler 15 is provided. The signals of an intake air pressure switch 23 and a vehicle speed switch 24 are input into a control circuit 21 to detect the operating condition in which the intercooler 15 becomes a high temperature. When such a condition is detected, a changeover valve 22 is changed over to supply intake air through the bypass passage 19. Thus, the knocking caused by the temperature rise of intake air and the reduction in output can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To fix a load value to the specified value as well as to make still higher learning compensation controllable, by installing an alternator controlling device, maintaining a field current of an alternator to the specified value, at the time of operation of a learning compensation device. CONSTITUTION:A suction air quantity is fed to each cylinder by way of an air flow meter 2 and a throttle chamber 3. Fuel is sprayed out of a fuel injector 5 to be controlled by an engine control unit 9. Generated energy of an alternator 15 is controlled by an IC regulator 14. The said unit 9 has a field current of the alternator 15 maintained to the specified value at the time of operation of a learning compensation device. Thus, a load value is fixable to the specified value and, what is more, still higher learning compensation is controllable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively suppress the generation of knocking by allowing an engine output characteristic selecting means to select the first output setting means before knocking is generated in the degree over a prescribed value in a specific operation range and to select the second output selecting means after said generation. CONSTITUTION:An engine output characteristic selecting means selects the output characteristic by the first output setting means until the knock is generated at the degree over a prescribed value in a specific operation range, and selects the output characteristic by the second output setting means after the generation of the knock. Therefore, when the absolute quantity of supplied oil is little or the pouring quantity for the rest quantity is little, it is judged that the fuel having a high octane number is used according to the degree of the actual generation of knock, and the engine output characteristic is increased, while when it is judged that the fuel having a low octane number is used, the output characteristic is reduced. Therefore, the generation of knocking can be effectively suppressed without particularly detecting the octane number itself of the fuel.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the supply of fuel with a high degree of accuracy, by detecting an offset amount in the opening degree of the throttle valve or the depressing amount of an accelerator pedal in a specified range upon depression of a brake pedal, and by compensating the above-mentioned opening degree in accordance with the offset amount. CONSTITUTION:Upon operation of an engine 1, a control circuit 11 determines, in accordance with a load signal (d) from a vacuum sensor 13 and a rotational speed signal (f) from an ingnition coil 16, whether the rotational speed of the engine 1 and the vacuum of intake-air are within their predetermined ranges, respectively, and if they are within the predetermined ranges, it is determined that the engine is in the idle condition. Further, when a brake sensor 18 is turned on upon depression of a brake pedal 17 while the temperature of cooling water which is detected by a water temperature sensor 15 exceeds a predetermined value, an offset amount alpha is subtracted from the output value To of a throttle valve opening degree sensor 12 to compensate the output value To to a value T corresponding to an actual opening degree. Then, the amount of fuel injection is computed in accordance with the thus compensated value to control a a fuel injection valve 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a fuel injection amount to be precisely controlled by means of the linear region of an injection valve, by a method wherein an interval of a fuel injection time is set to a relatively high value when an engine is not during acceleration to increase an injection amount per one time. CONSTITUTION:A first operation state detecting means detects an operation state, prevailing not during acceleration, in response to a signal from an airflow meter and a sensor for the number of revolutions of an engine. After receipt of the signal, a fuel injecting device sets an interval of a fuel injection time to a relatively high value, for example, so that fuel is injected one time each time an engine is rotated 2 times to increase an injection amount per one time, and a fuel injection amount is precisely controlled by means of the linear region of a fuel injecting valve. Meanwhile, when a second operation state detecting means decides an acceleration state from a change amount of an intake air amount, a correction signal, by means of which an interval of a fuel injection time is decreased, is outputted from a correcting means to a fuel injecting device to decrease a time interval, and this improves acceleration response and prevents the rapid change of an air-fuel ratio during the primary stage of acceleration.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a creep phenomenon when a vehicle is at rest, by controlling an rpm of an engine to a low idling rpm for restricting an engine output to a low level when an automatic transmission is shifted to a traveling range and a brake is applied. CONSTITUTION:When the depression of an accelerator pedal is released, a throttle valve is totally closed. When an idling discrimination unit 39 discriminates that the throttle valve is totally closed, a range discrimination unit 40 discriminates whether a transmission is shifted to a traveling range. When it is discriminated that it is in the traveling range, a brake application discrimination unit 41 discriminates whether a brake is applied. When it is discriminated that the brake is applied, a selection unit 43 selects as a target rpm NT a target rpm ND2 which is lower than a target rpm ND1 wherein the brake is not applied. Then, a bypass air control valve 24 provided for bypassing the throttle valve is controlled by feedback according to the target rpm ND2.
