Ein Prozessor führt ein NOx Reduktions-Regel- bzw. -Steuermodul für ein Durchführen, wenn die gespeicherte Menge an NOx eine gegebene Menge überschreitet, einer NOx Reduktionsregelung bzw. -steuerung aus, in welcher eine Kraftstoffeinspritzeinrichtung eine Nacheinspritzung von Kraftstoff durchführt, um kontinuierlich das Luft-Kraftstoff-Verhältnis auf ein Zielverhältnis derart zu regeln bzw. zu steuern, dass das gespeicherte NOx reduziert wird, um unter einer gegebenen Menge zu sein, wobei das Ziel-Luft-Kraftstoff-Verhältnis ein Verhältnis ist, bei welchem das gespeicherte NOx reduzierbar ist, wobei die Nacheinspritzung bewirkt, dass der eingespritzte Kraftstoff im Inneren eines Zylinders verbrennt, wobei die Ausführung der Regelung bzw. Steuerung erlaubt wird, wenn eine Motorlast innerhalb eines Bereichs mittlerer Last liegt.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the responsiveness to the closing operation of a second throttle valve which is electrically operated, when traction control is carried out by closing the second throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:In addition to primary and secondary throttle valves 8a, 8b associated with an accelerator pedal, an electrical throttle valve 15 is provided. Upon occurrence of a first slip, traction control is carried out, and after the slip is suppressed by this control, the electrical throttle valve 15 is changed by one and the same opening degree, following the operation of the primary throttle valve 8a for a set time. Accordingly, upon occurrence of a slip subsequent to the first slip, the opening degree range of the electrical throttle valve 15 in which the opening degree of the throttle valve 15 is changed to a value at which the slip is effectively restrained, is decreased. As a result, the opening degree of the electrical throttle valve 15 is quickly changed to an opening degree at which the slip is effectively restrained, thereby it is possible to surely restrain or suppress a slip in a short time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain the occurrence of knocking by providing bypass passages bypassing a turbine in confrontation with respective cylinders in such a manner that the resistance of a bypass passage against a cylinder at which knocking is liable to occur may be made small. CONSTITUTION:At a two cylinder rotary piston engine, a turbo supercharger 8 is interveniently furnished at part of the way of an exhaust passage 10 from respective cylinders 1F, 1R. This exhaust passage 10 forms the portion of the upper stream side of a turbine 8a into two independent exhaust passages 13f, 13r independent by respective cylinders. Also, two bypass passages 14f, 14r which bypass the turbine 8a and connect the scroll portions of respective independent exhaust passages 13f, 13r with the exhaust passage 10 on the lower side, are provided, and both passages 14f, 14r are opened/closed by means of a common waste gate valve 15. And in this instance, the bypass passage 14r for the cylinder 1R at which knocking is liable to occur, out of bypass passages 14f, 14r, is made larger at its passage diameter, and is made smaller at its passage resistance.

CONSTITUTION:Under a high load of an engine 1 judged by a control unit 32, when the fuel discharge quantity is decreased than the preset value due to the failure or the like of a fuel pump 26 or 27, it is detected by a pressure sensor 35. An electromagnetic clutch mechanism 14 is turned off by the operation of the control unit 32 fed with the output signal of this detecting means, a supercharger 15 is stopped operating, and the maximum filling quantity of the intake air filled in the operation chamber 4 of the engine 1 is corrected to be decreased. That is, as the fuel discharge quantity of the fuel pump 26 or 27 is decreased, the maximum filling quantity of the intake air is reduced, thus even if the air fuel ratio of the intake air tends to become over-lean under a high load of the engine 1, it is suppressed by the decreasing correction of the filling quantity of the intake air.

Hereby, the length of the intake passages from a surge tank through a valve 7 and the intake passages 121, 122 for the low-speed operation to a combustion chamber reaches a required length, and an excellent dynamic effect of intake air can be obtained in a low engine-speed range. While, when the intake air is supplied by means of intake passages 131, 132 for the high-speed operation to the combustion chamber, the intake air drawn in through the ends opening parts 71, 72 of the valve 7 is caused to flow into the intake passages 131, 132 on both ends thereof. And therefore, the substantial length of the intake passages for the high-speed operation is shortened as required, and a dynamic effect of intake air can be obtained excellently.

The control circuit 19 sets the target opening of the control valve 17 on the basis of the detected values from an air flowmeter 9 and a revolution sensor 34, and when an acceleration or deceleration is detected on the basis of the change in the throttle opening, it decreases the operating region in which the control valve 17 is opened.

Also, another means 'D' is provided for detecting any abnormal condition of the engine in the predetermined low load operation range. Furthermore, another means 'E' is provided for alleviating a load on the engine due to the supercharger 'A', when the means 'D' detects the abnormal condition of the engine. According to the aforesaid constitution, it becomes possible to evade the output drop and the like of the engine due to the driving of the supercharger 'A' in the predetermined low load operation range, and to operate the supercharger 'A' in an operation range at a load as low as practicable.

That is, switching the supercharge characteristic to plural kinds and controlling the engine control element to be corrected in accordance with this switching, the supercharge characteristic most suitably matches with the engine output characteristic.
