Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide polypropylene adhesive excellent in both initial adhesion and adhesion after heat history; and a laminate excellent in adhesion and heat resistance. Provided is a polypropylene-based adhesive having an MFR of 2.7 g/10min or higher as measured at 230°C under a load of 2.16 kg, comprising a composition which contains 5-95 parts by weight of (A) an isotactic polypropylene, 95-5 parts by weight of (B) a propylene/ethylene random copolymer, and 0-40 parts by weight of (C) an ethylene/propylene random copolymer, wherein 100 parts by weight of the composition is graft modified with 0.001-5 parts by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a derivative thereof, and wherein (B) is characterized by the following (i) to (iii): (i) the propylene/ethylene random copolymer (B) contains 60-90 mol% units derived from propylene and 10-40 mol% units derived from ethylene; (ii) the melting point (Tm) as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter is in the range of 40-120°C; and (iii) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) as determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is in the range of 1.0-3.0.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene-based adhesive resin composition suppressed in adhesive force decline even in a high-temperature atmosphere while having moderate flexibility needed as an adhesive, and to provide a laminate comprising the resin composition and high in interlaminar adhesive force in a high-temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: The propylene-based adhesive polymer composition(C) comprises 1-39 pt(s). wt. of an isotactic polypropylene(A) and 99-61 pts. wt. of a propylene-ethylene-α-olefin random copolymer(B), wherein the molar ratio(propylene/(ethylene+α-olefin)) is (45:55) to (90:10). The laminate has at least one layer of the above resin composition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyolefin composition for bonding having a high interlayer bonding strength especially in a high temperature atmosphere, and a laminate using the same. SOLUTION: The modified polyolefin composition for bonding includes (A) a propylene polymer, (B) a tackifier, (C) a graft-modified modified propylene polymer, (D) a high pressure low density polyethylene and (E) an amorphous or a low crystalline ethylene-α-olefin random copolymer in a specified ratio. All or a part of the component (E) may be graft-modified. The layer consisting of the modified polyolefin composition is laminated with at least one side of the base material layer in the laminated structure. Preferably, the base material is covered with a vapor-deposited layer of an inorganic substance such as aluminum oxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified propylene composition capable of presenting a laminate excellent in interlayer adhesiveness and capable of preventing reduction of an interlayer adhesive strength even when heat-treated at temperatures of 80-125 deg.C by using the composition as a laminate-forming composition or an adhesive resin composition. SOLUTION: This modified polypropylene composition comprises (A) a modified polypropylene a part or the whole of which is modified by grafting an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative, (B) an amorphous or low crystalline ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a specific MFR and density and (C) a styrene-based elastomer in a specific ratio. The component (A) is a graft a modified product of a homopolymer of propylene and/or a graft modified product of a propylene/α-olefin random copolymer. This laminate consists of a composition layer comprising the aforesaid composition and a resin layer or resin layers laminated on one side or both sides of the composition layer.
