    Abstract: A polyolefin resin composition comprising (A) a polyolefin resin, (B) a graft-modified alpha -olefin copolymer grafted with an unsaturated carboxylic acid and its derivative, and(C) an amino group-containing compound,(D) said polyolefin resin composition containing a crosslinked structure between the amino group-containing compound (C) and the graft-modified alpha -olefin copolymer (B), and containing, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin resin (A) and the graft-modified alpha -olefin copolymer (B) in total, 1 to 99 parts by weight of each of the polyolefin resin (A) and the graft-modified alpha -olefin copolymer (B) and 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of the amino group-containing compound (C). The polyolefin resin composition gives a crosslinked molded article havig impact resistance at ordinary temperature and a low temperature.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there are provided cycloolefin type random copolymer compositions excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, rigidity, impact resistance, etc., which comprise (A) a cycloolefin type random copolymer containing 40-85 mol% of an ethylene component and 60-15 mol% of a cycloolefin component represented by the following general formula ¢I! or ¢II! and having an intrinsic viscosity ¢?! of 0.05-10 dl/g as measured at 135.degree.C in decalin and a softening temperature (TMA) of not lower than 70.degree.C, and (B) one or more non-rigid copolymers selected from the group consisting of: (i) a cycloolefin type random copolymer containing an ethylene component, at least one other .alpha.-olefin component and a cycloolefin component and having an intrinsic viscosity ¢?! of 0.01-10 dl/g as measured at 135.degree.C in decalin and a softening temperature (TMA) of below 70.degree.C, (ii) a non-crystalline to low crystalline .alpha.-olefin type elastomeric copolymer formed from at least two .alpha.olefins having a crystallinity index as measured by X-ray diffractometry of 0-50%, (iii) an .alpha.-olefin-diene type elastomeric copolymer formed from at least two .alpha.-olefins and at least one nonconjugated diene, and (iv) an aromatic vinyl type hydrocarbon-conjugated diene copolymer or a hydrogenated product thereof, and optionally (C) an inorganic filler or organic filler: General formula ¢I! ¢II! wherein n and m are each 0 or a positive integer, ? is an integer of at least 3, and R1 to R10 each represents hydrogen atom, halogen atom or hydrocarbon group.

    Abstract: A polypropylene composition comprising 95 - 55 parts by weight of polypropylene (A) and 5 - 45 parts by weight of an ethylene/1-butene random copolymer (B-1) which contains constituent units derived from 1-butene in an amount of 15 to 25 % by mol; and a polypropylene composition comprising 95 - 55 parts by weight of polypropylene (A) and 5 - 45 parts by weight of an ethylene/1-octene random copolymer (B-2) which contains constituent units derived from 1-octene in an amount of 8 to 20 % by mol. Each of the random copolymers (B-1) and (B-2) has an intrinsic viscosity [ eta ] of 1.5 to 3.5 dl/g as measured in decalin, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than -50 DEG C, a crystallinity of less than 20 % as measured by X-ray diffractometry, a randomness parameter (B value) of 1.0 to 1.4 as measured by C-NMR spectroscopy. With respect to a melting point as measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) as the main peak, the copolymer (B-1) has a value of not higher than 60 DEG C, while the copolymer (B-2) has a value of not higher than 80 DEG C.

    Abstract: Polyolefin resin compositions having a sea and island structure wherein cycloolefin resin, graft modified cycloolefin resin and graft modified elastomer components are finely dispersed in polyamide by melt kneading the cycloolefin resin, graft modified cycloolefin resin, graft modified elastomer and polyamide. Molded products formed by using the polyolefin resin compositions of the present invention are high in impact strength and surface characteristics, particularly less in surface delamination, and also excellent in surface glossiness. The molded products are low in water absorption properties and also excellent in oil resistance.
