Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent adhesive agent which is used for bonding the inner lead of a lead frame to a heat dissipating plate from contaminating an adherend by a method wherein an auxiliary layer of polyimide resin high in elastic modulus is formed on the surface of the heat dissipating plate which is bonded to the inner lead frame, and a hot-melt adhesive layer of specific polyimide resin is formed thereon. CONSTITUTION:A lead frame provided with a heat dissipating plate is formed through such a manner that an inner lead frame is bonded to a metal heat dissipating plate 11 through the intermediary of an adhesive layer 12. The adhesive layer 12 is a composite layer composed of an auxiliary layer 121 provided to the surface of the heat dissipating plate 11 which is bonded to the inner lead frame and a hot-melt adhesive layer 122 laminated on the auxiliary layer 121. The auxiliary layer 121 is formed of polyimide resin high in elastic modulus, and the adhesive layer 122 is formed of thermoplastic polyimide resin which is lower in elastic modulus than that used in the layer 121 by 1X10 dyne/ cm .

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make them into fine particles without sacrifice of high saturation magnetization so as to improve the stability to oxidation by providing a ferrite film, which has spinel structure consisting of specific metallic elements and iron, in the surface layer part. CONSTITUTION:The particle surface layer part is covered with the film of a ferrite compound, which has the spinel structure consisting of iron and another metal selected from zinc, nickel, manganese, aluminum, chromium, and copper. That is, the oxyhydroxide particle mainly composed of iron, which has the ferrite film having the superfine spinel structure on the surface, is excellent in shape preserving effect by the property of this film, and for the film oxide formed after gentle surface oxidation, the ferrite film structure having spinel structure is succeeded, and a fine film oxide excellent in oxidation stability can be obtained. Hereby, the stability to oxidation can be obtained with high holding power and high saturation magnetization maintained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the oxidation stability of ferromagnetic metal powder and the dispersibility in a coating material by coating the surface of the powder with a specified silylisocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:The surface of iron-base ferromagnetic metal powder is coated with a silylisocyanate compound represented by a formula RnSi(NCO)4-n (where n=1-3 and R is alkyl, vinyl or phenyl). The preferred amount of the compound used is >=1wt% of the amount of iron. The coating may be carried out by immersing the powder in a soln. of the compound in a solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone. By this method, oxidation stability is provided to the surface of the metal powder and a film having siloxane bonds which are effective in improving the dispersibility of the powder in a magnetic coating material can be formed on the powder. The coated metal powder is usable as a magnetic material for a magnetic recording medium suitable for high density recording.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain adherent insulating tape having excellent characteristics in adhesion bond between metal conductor, semiconductor and the like, reliability and mass-productivity by a method wherein thermoplastic polymer, which is formed on insulating board, has specified polyimide as essential ingredient and specified glass transition temperature and modulus of elasticity. CONSTITUTION:On both the sides or one side of insulating board, thermoplastic polymer layer, the essential ingredient of which is represented by the formula I. In this case, the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic polymer is 180-280 deg.C and its modulus of elasticity is 10 -10 dyne/cm at 25 deg.C 10 -10 dyne/ cm at 250-300 deg.C. Silane coupling agent may be reacted or mixed with the thermoplastic polyimide at or after the synthesization of the thermoplastic polyimide. The adherent insulating tape 4 has excellent bonding characteristics to IC chip 1 and the like and adhesion takes place in a short period of time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the remarkable reduction of noise while restraining the decline of output of the electromagnetic conversion characteristics to the possible minimum by forming the material out of the ferromagnetic minute particles including the iron carbide having a needle-form property. CONSTITUTION:The surface of alpha-oxy-iron hydroxide or that in which an element selected from Al, Si and etc. was coprecipitated is coated with the element selected from B, Al, Si and etc. for avoidance of sintering, maintenance of shape, control of coersive force, improvement in erosion resistance, and etc. Then the dried surface-modified alpha-oxy-iron hydroxide is milled and calcined into a surface-modified alpha-oxy-iron hydroxide. Next, the surface-modified powder is dilluted by a mixed gas of a reducable gas and a carbonizable gas. If necessary by an inert gas, to cause a gas-phase contact reaction and accordingly, needle-form minute particles including iron carbide showing ferromagnetic property are manufactured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to reduce the quantity of iron oxide and carbon by-produced when the fine grains of iron carbide are manufactured by a method wherein magnetic material, to be used for a magnetic recording medium consisting of ferromagnetic fine grains containing needle-like iron carbide, is formed. CONSTITUTION:Needle-like metal fine grains having iron for magnetic recording as the main component is manufactured, and a carbonic reaction is advanced by introducing carbon monoxide gas or the mixed gas or carbon monoxide gas and inert gas containing no hydrogen in the carbonization reaction process to be performed subsequently. Besides, when a compound is reduction-reacted using reducing gas having hydrogen as the main component after said carbonization reaction is finished, the generation of ion oxide and carbon can be reduced, thereby enabling to obtain ferromagnetic fine grains containing iron carbon.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve remarkable oxidation stability without affording variation to magnetic property by a method wherein after an oxide film is formed on to a surface of ferromagnetic metallic particulates whose main body is iron. CONSTITUTION:Heat-treatment is performed to particulates, whose surface is oxided within temperature's range at 100-500 deg.C and desirable at 200-400 deg.C under an inert-gas atmosphere such as a nitride gas. Since the heat-reeatment at less than 100 deg.C takes very ong time to get desirable effect, it is not practical. The heat-treatment at more than 500 deg.C has a merit that can be treated for short time however, since basic unit particle's crystal growth of ferromagnetic particulates is occured in company with crystal growth of an oxide film, it is unsuitable for the use of magnetic recording.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a composite board which prevents metal scraps, generated due to a working operation, from being stuck to a thermoplatic polyimide resin layer by a method wherein a protective film whose thickness is in a specific range is brought into close contact with the surface of the thermoplastic polyimide resin layer. CONSTITUTION: A protective film 13 whose thickness is 1 to 10μm is brought into close contact with, and pasted on, the surface of a thermoplatic polyimide resin layer 12 for a composite board, for an LSI package, in which the thermoplastic polyimide resin layer 12 has been formed on one surface of a metal thin board 10. Thereby, metal scraps which are generated due to the working operation of the composite board for the LSI package are stuck to the protective film 13, and they are not stuck to the thermoplastic polyimide resin layer 12 as an adhesive layer. In addition, the metal scraps which have been stuck to the protective film 13 can be removed simply by stripping the protective film 13. Consequently, a lead frame or the like can be bonded to the surface of the thermoplastic polyimide resin layer which is not contaminated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium fit for high density magnetic recording by using ferromagnetic metal particles surfacecoated with a ferrite compd. contg. Fe, Co and at least one kind of metal such as Cu and having spinel structure. CONSTITUTION:Ferromagnetic metal particles surface-coated with a ferrite compd. contg. Fe, Co and at least one kind of metal selected among Zn, Ni, Mn, Al, Cr and Cu and having spinel structure are used. The particles have satisfactory oxidation stability and maintain high saturation magnetization even in deteriorated environment or after a weather resistance test. When a magnetic layer is formed with the particles and a binder, a high rate of filling of the particles is attained in the magnetic layer and a magnetic recording medium having superior oxidation stability, maintaining high saturation magnetization and fit for high density recording can be obtd.

CONSTITUTION:The org. boron compd. having the chemical structure expressed by the formula I or formula II in the molecule is added into the magnetic coating compd. for which the ferromagnetic metal powder essentilly consisting of iron is used, by which the magnetic recording medium is obtd. In the formulas, R is an alkyl group of 7-21C. The dispersion stability of the coating compd. is thereby enhanced and the flowability of the coating compd. is improved, by which the smoothness and uniformity of the coated film are improved. As a result, the uniformity and smoothness of the coated film surface are enhanced.
