    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a housing with a simple configuration by preventing the housing from being deformed even if receiving force applied by user's fingers when fitting a card and preventing the housing from coming off a substrate. SOLUTION: A connector for cards comprises; the housing for storing the card having a terminal member; and a connection terminal that is mounted to the housing and comes into contact with the terminal member of the card. The housing comprises: a bottom wall section opposing the lower surface of the card; a card support wall section that is extended along one of sides opposing the bottom wall section and on which one sidewall surface of the card abuts; and a fixture support wall section that is extended along the other of the sides opposing the bottom wall section and allows a fixture for holding the card to be mounted. The fixture for holding the card comprises: a card biasing section for biasing the card toward the card support wall section; and an auxiliary fixture section for mounting connectors integrally formed with the card biasing section.
