Abstract:
A vehicle window regulator (10) including an elongate drive shaft (12) having a drive axis (13), connected at spaced locations to first (14) and second (16) drive sprockets, each drive sprocket being connected via respective first (22) and second (23) toothed drive belts to respective first (20) and second (21) idler wheels, with each drive belt including a cursor (24,25) for connection to a window glass.

Abstract:
A vehicle door including a manually actuable element, a latch mechanism, the latch mechanism being operated by the manually actuable element, and a trim panel, in which sealing means are provided to seal the manually operable element relative to the trim panel.
Abstract:
A closure system (8) including a closure (16) moveable for substantially closing an aperture (14) in use, and an actuator (20) for at least closing the closure, the actuator being mounted by mounting means (24, 26), the mounting means including one or more measurement cells (C1, C2) for measuring, in use, parameters of the closure systems, in use the system being subjected to movement and being arranged such that it is possible to at least partially distinguish trap forces applied to the closure from acceleration forces applied to the closure as a result of the movement of the closure system by consideration of the measured parameters (Figure 2).
Abstract:
A mounting method and apparatus provides a simple and compact mount for attaching a power or manual window drive mechanism within a door module (16). The drive mechanism can be removed from a door panel without having to remove the driven mechanism that lowers and raises the window. The drive mechanism is positioned on one side of the panel and the driven mechanism is positioned on an opposite side of the panel from the drive mechanism. A retaining assembly retains the driven (24) and drive mechanisms (20) to the panel (18) such that the drive mechanism can be selectively detached from the panel without detaching the driven mechanism from the panel.
Abstract:
A device (30) for determining a load applied to an object (18), the device comprising a printed circuit board and a gauge capable (38a) of providing an output from which the load may be derived or inferred, the gauge being formed integrally as part of the printed circuit.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A door panel assembly (10) including a door panel (14), a window regulator housing (12) mounted on a first side of the door panel and a power mechanism (16) mounted on a second side of the door panel, in which the panel includes at least one first alignment feature for aligning the window regulator housing relative to the door panel and at least one second alignment feature for aligning the power mechanism relative to the door panel.
Abstract:
An assembly (10) including a first (14), second (12) and third component (16) having respectives first (14A), second (12A) and third holes (16A), the assembly (10) further including a locating means (24) assembled into the first (14A), second (12A) and third holes (16A), the locating means (24) having at least a small diameter cylindrical portion (d) which is concentric relative to a large diameter cylindrical portion (D) to provide a shoulder (26), the locating means (24) further including a fixing portion (28) proximate the small diameter portion (d) for securing the second component (12) relative to the assembly (10) and a fixing portion (30) proximate the large diameter portion (D) for securing the third component (16) relative to the assembly (10), in which the small diameter cylindrical portion (d) is located in the second hole (12A) in order to align the locating means (24) relative to the second component (12), and a large diameter portion (D) is located in the third hole (16A) in order to align the locating means (24) relative to the third component (16), thereby aligning the second component (12) relative to the third component (16), in which the first component (14) is situated between the second (12) and third component (16) and also between the shoulder (26) and the second component (12).
