Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a non-modulation gap and facilitate design and control with simple construction using less number of electromagnetic coils by furnishing a rotor and a stator each having two yokes forming two sets of gap magnetic paths facing each other. CONSTITUTION:Flux PHI1 is passed from N to S pole of a permanent magnet 9 of a rotor 1. That is, from a gap magnetic path G1 via solenoid yokes 6, 7 of the stator, the flux PHI1 shall flow into a gap magnetic path G1. Then the flux PHI1 shall flow into the yoke 5 from the yoke 7 through a gap magnetic path G2 for returning to the S pole, and thereby magnetic attraction force is applied to said gap magnetic paths G1, G2 between the yokes 4, 6 and 7, 5. Displacement of the rotor 1 is sensed by a location sensor 13 for X axis, and current is allowed to flow in solenoids 12a, 12c to allow a flux PHI2 to flow in such a direction as to set off change of the attraction force of the flux PHI1 caused by the permanent magnet 9. Thereby the whole attraction force is balance, and the rotor 1 is restored to the neutral position as original.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To dampen the instable vibration of a rotary body by mounting a displacement sensor and an electromagnet on two control shafts perpendicular to the rotary body and sending the signal from the displacement sensor to a control circuit to give the rotary body the instable vibration dampening force. CONSTITUTION:The rotary body 2 of a motor is held with two magnetic bearings 112 and 113, on and under which non-contact sensors 114 and 115 are placed. The rotary body 1 has four control shafts on two X and Y planes perpendicular to a turning axis Z, and displacement sensors 2, 3, 13 and 14 are put on those control shafts. In such constitution, the output from a detecting circuit to which differential signals are sent from the displacement sensors 2 and 3 on the X axis is decomposed into a low frequency component band and high frequency component band, and then adjusted for gain. The signal from a gain adjustor is applied to an electromagnet 10 on the X-axis plane, whereby offering the dampening force necessary for the control in the direction of the X-axis.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make revolving balance of a rotary body good and to reduce loss due to scattering of a magnetic bunch by not arranging a magneto of the sauce of magnetic power supply on the revolving side, but providing only patching iron to form a magnetic passage. CONSTITUTION:A base 12 to support a flywheel 11 of a rotary body consists of a cylindrical part 21, a brim part 22 and a projecting peripheral wall 23 slightly extending upward from a frame part of the brim part 22. A patching iron 24 made of magnetic material in the still side is fixed to the upper end part of the projecting peripheral wall 23, and connected magnetically and mechanically to circular patching irons 25, 26 by plate-shaped controlling magnetic poles 27a-27d composed of magnetic material. And, circular magnetoes 31, 32 are arranged on the upper surfaces of the circular patching irons 25, 26, and control coils 35a-35d are respectively wound up around the outer periphery of the controlling magnetic poles 27a-27d.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change a resonance point in a rotor part and avoid generating its resonance phenomenon, by winding an electromagnetic coil, which variably controls rigidity about the center shaft of rotation serving as the center, on a magnetic pole in a stator part oppositely facing to a magnetic pole in the rotor part. CONSTITUTION:A stator part 1 mounts to its connecting member 17 a cylindrical rigidity-variable stator magnetic pole 26 with a squared-shaped section opening its one end. while a rotor part 2 mounts to a flywheel 4, between the first and the second rotor magnetic poles 22, 23, a rigidity-variable rotor magnetic pole 27 having a one end-opened squared-shaped section and rotating around the stator magnetic pole 26, and each of the two opposed surfaces of these magnetic poles 26, 27 is oppositely faced to each other. And the stator magnetic pole 26 winds an electromagnetic coil 28 variably changing rigidity about a shaft 3 serving as the center. Consequently, a resonance phenomenon can be prevented from its generation by adjusting an electrification current in the rigidity-variably controlling electromagnetic coil 28 so as to change a resonance frequency if the rotor part 2 rotates approaching the resonance frequency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce unstableness of positioning by installing the parts each having a large magnetic resistance at the proper places in the circumferential direction so that the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet hardly passes through yokes in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 18 are cut at equal intervals in the axial direction on the inside and the outside stator yokes 13 and 14 of a stator part 11, and the magnetic resistance in the circumferential direction is made exceedingly large. Although the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 12 in the stator part 11 passes from the outside stator yoke 14 to an outside rotor yoke 17 and from an inside rotor yoke 16 to the inside stator yoke 13, the shifting interference of the magnetic flux is reduced markedly, even if the interval between yokes varies partly, by increasing the magnetic resistance in the circumferential direction, so unstableness of positioning due to deviation of the magnetic flux can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simlify the construction of a five-axle control type magnetic bearing for a gyroscope and the like by disposing two permanent magnets, forming symmetrically a magnet flux in each void magnetic path between the yokes of a rotor and a stator and cancelling the magnet flux change following displacement by means of an electromagnetic coil. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic fluxes phi1, phi2 of a first and second permanent magnets 7, 8 flow symmetrically to each other as an arrow shows. When a rotor portion 1 is moved downwardly from the neutral position, the clearance of a void magnetic path 17 becomes narrow and the magnetic fluxes phi1, phi2 therein are increased. Accordingly, said rotor portion 1 is further moved downwardly and a first position detector 41 is operated. Thus, an electric current is supplied to said electromagnetic coil 20 and the magnetic flux phi3 flows in a void magnetic path 16 and said rotor 1 is returned. Also, the X-axial displacement of said rotor 1 operates a void magnetic path 23 a position detector 42 and electromagnetic coils 34, 36 or a void magnetic path 24, a position detector 44 and electromagnetic coils 34, 36. With regard to Y-axis, the similar operation is carried out. As a result, the magnetic field change type with a simple construction can be constituted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To damp the vibration of a rotary shaft at a device in which a rotary body gravity center and an active type magnetic bearing operation center are displaced axially, by providing displacement sensors at least two positions whose axial directions are different, controlling electrification to the active type magnetic bearing from these outputs. CONSTITUTION:A rotary machine equipped with a rotor 12, a stator 14 and a rotary shaft 16 integrally constituted with the rotor 12 possesses inside the stator 14 a motor 18 whose purpose is to rotate the rotary shaft 16 and the rotor 12. Also, an active type magnetic bearing 22 containing an electromagnet 20 whose purpose is to control a rotary shaft 16 radial position, is provided, and at the same time a passive type magnetic bearing 30 whose purpose is to retain a rotor axial position fixedly, is equipped between the outer periphery surface of the stator 14 and the inner periphery surface of the rotor 12. Hereupon, a rotation detector 28 and displacement sensors 24, 26 are provided at two positions whose axial directions are different, and the outputs of displacement sensors 24, 26 are subjected to operation processing by means of a controller, and the amount of electrification supplied to the coil of the bearing 22 electromagnet 20 is controlled.

In addition, as plural ringlike magnetic materials are equipped, axial rigidity is improved very much, and large passive stability rigidity is obtained. Also, axial rigidity becomes appropriately adjustable by changing appropriately a magnetic material layer number.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts of a radially-controlled magnetic bearing and its thickness, by using permanent magnets magnetized in the axial direction of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 2 and a stator 1 are disposed so that one of them is rotated relative to the other out of contact therewith around an axis. The rotor and the stator have flat annular yokes 21, 22, 11, 12 parallel with each other. Permanent magnets 23 magnetized in the axial direction of a magnetic bearing are pinched between the yokes of at least one of the stator 1 and the rotor 2. Electromagnetic coils 16a-16d are provided on a yoke 15 magnetically coupled with the yokes 11, 12 of the stator 1. In one of magnetic gaps G1, G2, the magnetic fluxes of only the permanent magnets 23 are present. In the other magnetic gap, the magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnets 23 and the electromagnetic coils 16a-16d are present. The attractive force coused between the yokes of the stator 1 and the rotor 2 by the permanent magnets 23 is controlled by the coils 16a-16d. This results in reducing the number of permanent magnets and that of electromagnets and making the form of the bearing flat.
