Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method that can detect dark debris without interference by background noise in a fixed star tracking mode suitable to a wide-ranging observation. SOLUTION: For an arbitrary point P0 on an image, a point P1 where an object of observation point-imaged at an exposure start time is imaged at an exposure end time is computed, and an image output on a line joining the points P0 to P1 on image data is added. This process is carried out for every point in the image. Before the addition of the image data on the line joining the points P0 to P1, a level of noise is determined, and a high-density image of a celestial body in the image data is replaced with the noise level to erase the star image. The noise level may be determined through the computation of a peak value of a histogram of data on the processed region of the image.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a moving celestial body which is dark to an almost undetectable degree in the observed image of one frame by removing a large quantity of fixed star images which hinder detection. SOLUTION: Images 2-1 to 2-3 of an area, suited to operation of the moving celestial body, are respectively cut off from images 1-1 to 1-3 of plural frames imaged at specific time intervals. Next, a central value image 3-1 is made by taking a central value on the same pixel of the whole cutoff images 2-1 to 2-3. Influence of the fixed stars moving on the cutoff images is removed by taking the central value, and only the moving celestial body can be left. An average value image is made, by using the obtained central value image by plural frame for increasing a detection limit, and the dark moving celestial body undetectable in the observing image of the one frame is extracted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate a non-modulation gap and facilitate design and control with simple construction using less number of electromagnetic coils by furnishing a rotor and a stator each having two yokes forming two sets of gap magnetic paths facing each other. CONSTITUTION:Flux PHI1 is passed from N to S pole of a permanent magnet 9 of a rotor 1. That is, from a gap magnetic path G1 via solenoid yokes 6, 7 of the stator, the flux PHI1 shall flow into a gap magnetic path G1. Then the flux PHI1 shall flow into the yoke 5 from the yoke 7 through a gap magnetic path G2 for returning to the S pole, and thereby magnetic attraction force is applied to said gap magnetic paths G1, G2 between the yokes 4, 6 and 7, 5. Displacement of the rotor 1 is sensed by a location sensor 13 for X axis, and current is allowed to flow in solenoids 12a, 12c to allow a flux PHI2 to flow in such a direction as to set off change of the attraction force of the flux PHI1 caused by the permanent magnet 9. Thereby the whole attraction force is balance, and the rotor 1 is restored to the neutral position as original.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a linear image from a planar image capable of specifying a linear image position even when the linear image formed by a moving object such as space debris or a meteor does not clearly appear on the image by improving processing of image data. SOLUTION: Image data processing comprising a dividing process S2 of dividing the image data of the planar image picked up by a CCD image pickup element into plural pieces of mutually parallel columnar image data of a column direction and a central value selecting process S3 of determining medians determined per each picture element data array as central values of the columnar image data is carried out in all directions of the planar image. Then an analyzing process is carried out comprising a significant value detecting process S6 of detecting whether or not a central value of each columnar image data is a significant value and a linear image position specifying process S7 of determining a column position of columnar image data with a central value showing a significant value as a linear image position caused by moving object passage or the like.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image processing method, capable of automatically distinguishing a fixed star from other heavenly bodies from a large amount of observed images observed in a large range of the celestial sphere at all times, to detect unknown high-orbit/geostationary-orbit space debris, an asteroid or the like. SOLUTION: This method includes a means of extracting an image of the heavenly body from the respective images obtained, by continuous photographing in a fixed star-tracking mode; a means of extracting a shape feature a/b, an area s and a position of the center of gravity (x, y) of the image of the extracted heavenly body; a means of registering the extracted feature 1/b, an image number, an accumulation counter as a list; a means of adding '1' to the accumulation counter in the list, when it is decided that data are already registered in the list. It is distinguished, based mainly on a value of the accumulation counter whether the heavenly body is a fixed star or another heavenly star, and the space debris is distinguished from the image features, mainly the position of the center of gravity, the shape or the like.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To damp the vibration of a rotary shaft at a device in which a rotary body gravity center and an active type magnetic bearing operation center are displaced axially, by providing displacement sensors at least two positions whose axial directions are different, controlling electrification to the active type magnetic bearing from these outputs. CONSTITUTION:A rotary machine equipped with a rotor 12, a stator 14 and a rotary shaft 16 integrally constituted with the rotor 12 possesses inside the stator 14 a motor 18 whose purpose is to rotate the rotary shaft 16 and the rotor 12. Also, an active type magnetic bearing 22 containing an electromagnet 20 whose purpose is to control a rotary shaft 16 radial position, is provided, and at the same time a passive type magnetic bearing 30 whose purpose is to retain a rotor axial position fixedly, is equipped between the outer periphery surface of the stator 14 and the inner periphery surface of the rotor 12. Hereupon, a rotation detector 28 and displacement sensors 24, 26 are provided at two positions whose axial directions are different, and the outputs of displacement sensors 24, 26 are subjected to operation processing by means of a controller, and the amount of electrification supplied to the coil of the bearing 22 electromagnet 20 is controlled.

In addition, as plural ringlike magnetic materials are equipped, axial rigidity is improved very much, and large passive stability rigidity is obtained. Also, axial rigidity becomes appropriately adjustable by changing appropriately a magnetic material layer number.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the displacement of a body to be measured accurately by wiring coils so that the magnetic fluxes generated by the currents with carrier frequencies flowing through coils have the different polarities for every neighboring magnetic poles in concentric circle patterns. CONSTITUTION:A sensor core 10 comprises a material formed of ferromagnetic body. A circular-cylinder-shaped magnetic pole 11 and concentric-circle-shaped magnetic poles 12 and 13 are formed as a unitary body. Sensor coils 16 and 15 are provided between the magnetic poles 11 and 12 and between the magnetic poles 12 and 13, respectively. The coils 15 and 16 are connected in series and constituted so that the magnetic fluxes generated in the respective coils 15 and 16 are aligned in the reverse directions. The change in potential across a dummy coils due to the changes in inductances of the coils 15 and 16 is detected with a detecting circuit, and the displacement of a body to be measured 17 is measured. When a magnetic flux 40 from the outside is inputted into the core 10, the electromotive forces generated in the coils 15 and 16 with the magnetic flux 40 are directed in the reverse directions to each other. Thus, the electromotive forces generated with the magnetic flux 40 are offset, and the noises formed by an external magnetic fields are decreased. Therefore, the displacement of the body to be measured can be accurately measured.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase restoring force by constituting a bearing coating the vicinity of a magnetic pole of small area in a rotor part and a stator part faced to an air gap magnetic path with a substance of small relative magnetic permeability. CONSTITUTION:An annular magnetic shielding object 11 is provided between two magnetic poles 10a, 10b of a stator yoke 5. This magnetic shielding object 11 is formed by a material of very small relative magnetic permeability, providing very high magnetic resistance. In this high rigid magnetic bearing, steady magnetic flux phi is generated from permanent magnets 4, 4 as shown by a full line, and magnetic attracting force acts interposing air gap magnetic paths 6, 6, 7 between a rotor part 1 and a stator part 2, supporting a rotor 1. Here most of the magnetic flux phi, passing through between a rotor yoke 8 and the stator yoke 5, passes through between the low magnetic resistance poles 10a and 9a and between 10b and 9b because the magnetic shielding object 11 coats between the magnetic poles 10a, 10b. When the rotor part 1 and the stator part 2 are displaced a little in a direction of the center line C, the magnetic flux phi, passing through the air gap magnetic path 7, obtains strong restoring force reverse to the displacement.
