Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stirring of a cultured product also under a weightless state, by allowing the cultured product to flow into a charge line of the culture material provided in a state having an angle in the lower part of a culture tank and stirring the culture material in aireddy form. CONSTITUTION:A flow route 16 of culture material having 10-15 deg. theta angle to the axis 18 of ordinates of a culture tank 10 and branched into three is provided in the lower part of the closed type culture tank 10. Then a pump 14 is actuated and the culture material is allowed to flow to the arrow A direction in the culture tank 10 and by-pass line 12 and allowed to flow from the charge line 16 into the culture tank 10 and the culture material in culture tank 10 is stirred in aireddy form.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simultaneously and continuously obtain algae and oxygen under any outer environments, by continuously culturing algae in closed system. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic valves 50 and 72 are each opened in the directions of B C and A B. Then light from light source 18 is given through a optical fiber bundle 20 to a culture tank 10 and simultaneously a pump 14 is actuated and culture product containing an alga body is circulated to the arrow a direction in the culture tank 10 and line 12 to propagate the alga body and oxygen separated with an oxygen separator 24 is recovered through a gas pump 32, oxygen flowmeter 34, CO2 flowmeter 36 and vapor flowmeter 38 to a cylinder 40. Then the propagation of the alga body is detected with a turbidity meter 28 and when it attains definite value, the valves 50 and 72 are each opened in the directions of A C and A C and simultaneously pumps 52 and 60 are actuated and cultured product is allowed to flow to the arrow b direction of branched tube 48 and fed through a valve 50 and pump 52 into an alga body recovering vessel 54 and the alga body is recovered with a cylindrical filter 56, stored in a container 58 and used culture medium is discharged through a pump 60 into a tank 62.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make a spacecraft platform constructible as one structural body without giving any adverse effect on environmental conditions in both elements by connecting the rotating element at the outside to the nonrotating element at the inside through magnetic force in a noncontact state. CONSTITUTION:A spacecraft platform is constituted of a nonrotating element 1 at a central part capable of offering microgravity for space environmental utilization such as the rearing of flora and fauna in space, various astronomical observations, science and engineering experiments and so on, and both rotating elements 5, 6 to generate artificial gravity and offer such environment as making a human being active so comfortably over a long period of time. In this case, the nonrotating element 1 and the rotating elements 5, 6 are coupled together in noncontact by a magnetic coupling part 7. This noncontact part 7 is made into a structure coupled with a rotary coupling part 14 magnetically in and around a nonrotating coupling part 13 or a part of the nonrotating element 1 via a void 15, and thereby it is constituted so as to have both relatively rotated by a motor 16.
