Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a production method or spinel germanium nitride, in the conventional method of which only a sample amount of 100 mg or less can be manufactured on an experiment scale with one time, and the grinding process, or the like, is necessary for obtaining fine particles. SOLUTION: In the method for synthesizing a high pressure phase spinel germanium nitride by pressing a low pressure phase germanium nitride (α-Ga3 N4 , β-Ga3 N4 or amorphous Ge3 N4 ) by a shock wave, the pressing compact of a mixture of low pressure phase powder and metal powder is put into a metal vessel, and the production method for spinel germanium nitride powder is characterized by momentary pressing the shock wave pressure of 20 GPa or more and the pressurization time of 5 microseconds or less. As the metal power copper powder is used, and the mixing ratio of copper in mixture of the low pressure phase powder and the copper powder is set to 99 wt.%-50 wt.%, the density of the pressure compact of the mixture is preferably set to 8.9 g/cm -4.5 g/cm .

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing carbon onion by a collision on a shock board. SOLUTION: This method comprises mixing silicon carbide (α-SiC or β-SiC) powders with copper powders and pressurizing the resultant mixture by a shock wave to synthesize carbon onion, and is characterized by applying an ultra-high pressure and temperature shock compression having a pressure of 350,000 atm or more and a temperature of 2,700 deg.C or higher to the pressurized formed body of SiC and copper powders. It is preferable that the density of the pressurized formed body is 6.0 g/cm or higher and the pressure of shock compression is 350,000 atm or higher.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for generating an instantaneous ultrahigh gravitational field realized when a minute flying object is accelerated by making good use of the abrasion by a pulsed laser beam. SOLUTION: The method for generating an instantaneous ultrahigh gravitational field of over 10 m/s is characterized in that an ultrahigh gravitational field of 10 to 10 m/s lasting for around 10-50 nanoseconds can be realized when the minute part of aluminum metallic foil having 3-100 μm thickness is accelerated by the expansion of abrasion plasma by converging/irradiating the aluminum metallic foil with the pulsed laser beam having 10 W/cm or higher intensity.
