Abstract:
The inner shape of the body part in a hollow ceramic molded article constituting a precursor of a discharge vessel is precisely controlled so as to make a large improvement in the function of a discharge vessel formed by baking the hollow ceramic molded article. With the use of a core for molding having a wax molded article or molded article made of waxy substance, a slurry for molding is injected into a forming mold and cured, whereby a hollow ceramic molded article with a controlled inner shape of the body part is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the wax molded article or molded article made of waxy substance. The hollow ceramic molded article is baked to produce a discharge vessel.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a light emitting container capable of remarkably increasing the function of the light emitting container formed by baking a hollow ceramic molded body by accurately controlling the inner shape of the body part of the hollow ceramic molded body as the precursor of the light emitting container, comprising the steps of filling slurry for molding in a forming die by using a core for molding having a wax molded body or a molded body formed with wax-like substance, curing the slurry to form the hollow ceramic molded body having the inner shape of the body part controlled on the outer peripheral surface of the molded body or the molded body formed with the wax-like substance, and baking the hollow ceramic molded body.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a finned ceramic tube usable as each heat exchanger tube of a multitude heat exchanger made of ceramics. SOLUTION: A tubular body 2 made of a ceramic sintered compact is fitted with many ring-shaped fins 4 each made of a ceramic unsintered compact and having a through hole for passing the tubular body 2 at prescribed intervals and the fins 4 are fired to join the tubular body 2 and the fins 4 in one body by utilizing the difference in shrinkage by firing between the tubular body 2 and the fins 4.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic structure, by which crushing of a foamed resin during processes such as kneading and the deformation of a formed body at the time of forming are almost suppressed, and the porous ceramic structure of a high porosity cordierite can be obtained. SOLUTION: The ceramic structure producing method for obtaining the porous ceramic structure of cordierite comprises mixing a cordierite raw material containing an alumina component, water, and if needed, a forming aid to obtain a raw material mixture, then kneading the raw material mixture, forming the kneaded mixture to obtain a formed body, and firing the formed body. Hydraulic alumina is used as a portion of the alumina component, and a foamed resin is added into the raw material mixture.

PURPOSE:To improve dimensional accuracy, by a method wherein a part of structure of a supporting rest and the remainder are made respectively porous and nonporous and respective relations are specified. CONSTITUTION:A supporting rest is constituted of a porous part and nonporous part formed on both sides of the porous part, in an extrusion molding method of ceramics where the ceramics extruded through a mouth piece of an extruding machine is extrusion-molded continuously while holding under a state where the ceramics is floated slightly by air through the supporting rest. The supporting rest is constituted so that an expression D/9
