Abstract:
A protection panel with a touch input function for an electronic instrument display window, which is excellent in reliability in an FPC connection. The panel is constituted such that the outer side face can be fitted into a panel fitting part of a casing having an aperture and kept without a gap to form a leveled plane and is configured to protect a display device provided under it externally visibly through a transparent window. A pin-equipped FPC (10) for taking out electric signals via through holes from the rear of the protective panel is characterized in that a metal pin fixation hole (10e) is bored on a film substrate (10f) and a circuit (10c) serving as a conductive part at a connection terminal (10a) of the FPC; a metal pin (14) having an axis part (14b) and a head part (14a) formed in a larger diameter than the outer diameter of the pin axis part is inserted into the metal pin fixation hole from the circuit side; a cover-lay film (10b) is stuck onto the circuit (10c) and the film substrate (10f) to cover the head part of the metal pin and also a conductive adhesive layer (21) is interposed between the circuit (10c) and the head part of the metal pin (14).

Se incluye un cuerpo principal del panel de protección (7) configurado por una placa transparente, una hoja de extremo inferior (1) laminada sobre una superficie superior del cuerpo principal del panel de protección, una hoja de electrodo superior (3) unida a la hoja de electrodo inferior, en sus bordes periféricos con un espacio (20) que se forma entre los electrodos (2, 4), una hoja decorativa (8) laminada sobre una superficie superior de la hoja de electrodo superior, y un FPC (18) que tiene un extremo insertado entre la hoja de electrodo inferior y la hoja de electrodo superior y se conecta mediante unión por compresión térmica a extremos de salida de un circuito superior y un circuito inferior. Además, el cuerpo principal del panel de protección se suministra con un espacio de inserción de cabeza de compresión térmica (50) en una porción que corresponde a una porción unida con el FPC por compresión térmica, de manera tal que un calentador por compresión térmica (30) se deja que se lleve más cerca a la hoja de electrodo inferior.

A protective panel comprises: a protective panel body (7) formed of a transparent plate; a bottom electrode sheet (1) bonded to the upper surface of the protective panel; a top electrode sheet (3) forming a space (20) between the bottom electrode sheet and electrodes (2, 4) and bonded at the periphery portion; a decorated sheet (8) bonded to the upper surface of the top electrode sheet; and an FPC (18), an end of which is inserted between the bottom electrode sheet and the top electrode sheet and is connected to the output ends of top and bottom circuits by thermal compression bonding. Further, the protective panel has a thermal compression head insertion space (50) disposed at a portion corresponding to an FPC thermal compression portion of the protective panel body, enabling a thermal compression heater (30) to be close to the bottom electrode sheet.

An analog resistance film-form touch panel comprising a lower-side electrode member (2) having a transparent electrode (22) on part of the top surface of a transparent insulation substrate (21), a pair of bus bars (23, 24) disposed on two parallel sides of the transparent electrode and external-terminal-connecting routing circuits (25, 26) provided on portions other than the transparent electrode and respectively connected with the bus bars, and an upper-side electrode member (1) having a transparent electrode (12) on part of the bottom surface of a flexible transparent insulation substrate (11), a pair of bus bars (13, 14) disposed on two parallel sides of the transparent electrode and external-terminal-connecting routing circuits (15, 16) provided on portions other than the transparent electrode and respectively connected with the bus bars, the electrode members facing each other via an insulating spacer (3) so as to be arranged in a square form and being bonded together at peripheral edges, wherein the bus bars and the routing circuits are respectively formed of metal thin wires (8, 223, 224, 113, 114) each having a diameter of 30-100 mum.
