Abstract: A protection panel having a touch input function of the analog resistance film method for detecting an X-Y coordinate representing an operated position by a potential gradient based on a touch operation relative to the front substrate 6, in which the back substrate 5 and the front substrate 6 include contacts 5G and 6G, respectively, connected to each other in series on the resistance films 5A and 6A through the routing circuits 5C and 6C to have potential difference, in which the contacts 5G and 6G face each other at a predetermined distance when the back substrate 5 and the front substrate 6 are connected to each other, and in which a switch 12 is provided for detecting, when voltage is applied by the contacts 5G and 6G between the electrodes 5D or 6D of either one of the front substrate 6 and the back substrate 5, whether or not the contacts 5G and 6G are brought into contact with each other based on voltage detected by the electrodes 5D or 6D of the other of the front substrate 6 and the back substrate 5.

Abstract: METHOD FOR CONNECTING LEAD WIRES TO TOUCH PANEL In a method for connecting lead wires to a touch panel (1), the method includes the steps of: providing through holes (9a to 9d) the number of which corresponds to the number of electrode ends (6c, 7c, 6d, 7d) by perforation in a lower electrode plate (3); using a metal-pin (11 to 14) having a pin-shaft (11 b to 14b) and a disk shaped pin-head (11a to 14a) with ~ diameter larger than an outer diameter of the pin-shaft; inserting the pin-shaft into a metal-pin fixing hole (1 Oe) formed corresponding to the through hole (9a) at a circuit (10c) in a connector tail of a lead wire (10), whereby the pin-shaft is erectly provided on the connector tail of the lead wire; and inserting the pin-shafts into the through holes, and in addition, electrically connecting the pin-shaft inserted into a lower electrode plate (3) through a conductive adhesive (15) to electrode ends. Abstract: A protection panel has a touch input function of the analog resistance film method which detects X-Y coordinates as an operation position by a potential gradient according to a touch operation on a front surface side substrate (6). A switch (12) is arranged on a rear surface side substrate (5) and a front surface side substrate (6). Contact points (5G, 6G) are connected in series via routed circuits (5C, 6C) to resistance films (5A, 6A) so as to have a potential difference and arranged to oppose to each other at a predetermined distance when the rear surface side substrate (5) is connected to the front surface side substrate (6). When voltage is applied by the contact points (5G, 6G) between a pair of electrodes (5D, 6D) of the rear surface side substrate (5) or the front surface side substrate (6), the switch (12) detects presence/absence of the contact of the contact points (5G, 6G) according to the voltage detected by the other pair of electrodes (6D, 5D).

Abstract: Provided are a narrow frame touch input sheet, manufacturing method of same, and conductive sheet used in the narrow frame touch input sheet that are suitable for a capacitive touch sensor of a narrow frame for which a conductive transparent film pattern has two layers. A conductive sheet is used which is provided with one or a plurality of layered transparent base sheets; and a conductive transparent film, a light-excluding conductive film for electrode use, and a first resist layer which are formed to be sequentially layered on the top surface and the rearmost surface thereof. Both sides of the first resist layer are exposed simultaneously, and after development, the conductive transparent film and the light-excluding conductive film for electrode use are simultaneously etched, the first resist layer is stripped away, then a second resist layer is formed as a coating over external bounding edge portions of both sides, and only the light-excluding conductive film for electrode use of the central window portion is etched. A circuit pattern of the conductive transparent film is thereby formed by being exposed.
