    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the uniformity of the panel light emission of an illumination plate by decreasing the thickness of a printing film and the occupying area rate per unit area gradually with a decrease in the luminance of the light from a light source from the part where the luminance of the light is high. CONSTITUTION:The light transmittable printing film 2 is formed nearly to a circular shape to face the halogen lamp 4 on the surface of a transparent plate 1. The printing film 2 is formed to the large thickness in the central part facing the lamps 4 to suppress the luminance of the light transmitting therethrough. The thickness of the printing film 2 is decreased successively from the central part toward the circumferential part to allow the transmission of the luminance of the light from the lamps 4 as it is. The occupying area rate per unit area of the printing films 2 with respect to the transparent plate 1 is increased in the central part of the printing film 2 and is decreased toward the circumferential part to change the transmittance. The panel light emission of the illuminating plate 6 is uniformized by such constitution.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute an almost uniform surface light emission by constituting the titled plate so that light beams having a high luminance among light beams from a light source transmits through a part where an occupied rate of a printing film per unit area is large, of a light transmissive plate, and on other hand, light beams having a low luminance transmit through a part where occupied area rate is small. CONSTITUTION:In a part where light beams having a high luminance transmit through, of a transparent plate 1, an occupied area rate of a printing film 2 is large a gap through which the light beams transmit through is small, therefore, the transmissivity of light beams from a light emission diode 4 is deteriorated, and a luminance of a transmission light beam drops. On the other hand, in a part where light beams having a low luminance transmit through, of the transparent plate 1, the occupied area rate of the printing film 2 is small and the gap through which the light beams transmit is large, therefore, the transmissivity of the light beams from the light emission diode 4 is good, and the light beams from the light emission diode 4 hold its luminance roughly as it is and transmit through, and also, reflected light beams which have been reflected by a reflecting plate 3 transmit through the part corresponding to the peripheral part of the light emission diode 4 of the transparent plate 1. In this way, an almost uniform surface light emission can be executed extending over a wide range to not only the part opposed to the light source but also the part corresponding to the peripheral part of the light source.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the judging precision of the top/bottom of a picture by deciding a rotary angle for matching the top/bottom of a discriminated picture in one direction, rotating the picture in accordance with the rotary angle and storing the rotated picture in the picture storing part. SOLUTION: A picture 1 before changing is read from a picture storing part and the picture is judged by picture recognition by a top/bottom detecting part. The judgment of the top/bottom of the picture by the top/bottom detecting part is executed by the combination of plural analytic methods based on different information in a picture. At least two of the analytic methods based on hue information, luminance information, composition information are included in the combination. Based on information of the top/bottom direction of a picture obtained from the top/bottom detector, a rotary angle deciding part decides the rotary angle of the picture for matching the top/bottom of the picture with those of another picture. In accordance with the decided rotary angle, a picture rotating part rotates a picture. A rotated changed picture 3 is stored in a picture storing part.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To mass-produce the mold easily by a method wherein a corrosion- resistant resist layer consisting of a group of lines is formed on a metallic substrate and the substrate is etched. CONSTITUTION:A pattern consisting of a group of lines of the resist layer 2 is formed on the metallic substrate 1 such as stainless steel, copper or the like, the resist layer 2 being made of a material which is resistant to the corrosive action of ordinary etching liquids. Then, the metallic substrate 1 is etched by an etching liquid. In the early stage of the etching process, the substrate 1 is etched only at the parts where the resist layer 2 is absent, and recesses are produced. As the etching process proceeds, a side etching takes place wherein the substrate 1 is etched gradually from the parts at the gaps between the lines of the resist layer 2 toward the parts beneath the resist layer 2. The etching further proceeds so that the cross section of the etched part becomes substantially semi-circular in shape. After the etching of the substrate 1 is completed, the resist layer 2 is removed. When required, the substrate 1 may be etched again.
