Abstract: PURPOSE:To form the title transparent and porous composite metallic film having excellent film forming property and adsorptivity by applying a liq. mixture of a soln. of the org. compds. of Si, Ti, Zr, Mg, etc., and hydrated Al on sheet glass, heating, and dehydrating the liq. mixture. CONSTITUTION:The liq. mixture of a soln. of the org. compd. of at least one element among Si, Ti, Zr, and Mg or the liq. dispersion of the hydrolyzate and a liq. dispersion of the hydrated Al forming a dehydrated material coated film having at least two characteristic absorption peaks among a group of the characteristic absorption peaks at 1,380-1,440cm , 1,500-1,550cm , and 1,610-1,650cm by the light transmission-type IR spectrum analysis is coated on the glass, dried, and then heated to about 250-550 deg.C to form the coated film of the dehydrated material. The atomic ratio of the Si, Ti, Zr, Mg, etc., in the coated film to the Al is preferably controlled to 100/100-1/199. The alcoholates or acetylacetates of the respective elements are appropriately used as the org. compd., and the hydrate acidified by acetic acid is used for the liq. dispersion of the hydrolyzate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve resistances to abrasion, weather, chemicals, solvents and heat by constituting at least one of the layers provided on a base sheet of lubricating property by a layer containing metallic oxide polymer. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene terephthalate or polypropylene may be used as a base sheet. In order to add lubricating property to the base sheet, the lubricating treatment may be performed to the surface of the base sheet. When alkali metallic salt or metallic alkoxide etc. made of at least one element selected from a group of aluminum, silicon, titanium and the like is partially or totally processed through hydrolysis, or, a solution of metallic oxide polymer produced by dissolving or turning into colloid is dried, the metallic oxide polymer is obtained. A solution of the metallic oxide polymer is applied and dried to form a layer containing the metallic oxide polymer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the hardness of a transferred pattern and contrive higher resistances to abrasion, marring, weather, chemicals, solvents, heat or the like, by providing an active metallic oxide layer on a base sheet having a releasable property, and sequentially providing thereon a pattern layer and an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:As a base sheet 1, polyethylene terephthalate or the like conventionally used as a base sheet for ordinary transfer materials is used. The surface of the base sheet 1 may be treated with a release agent or the like to impart a releasable property to the base sheet 1. Next, an active metallic oxide layer 2 is provided, by use of a film of an active metallic oxide. Particularly, an active metallic oxide film comprising at least one element selected from the group consisting of aluminum, silicon, titanium, magnesium, zirconium and the like is excellent in transparency, and is suitable for use as a layer constituting a transfer material. The active metallic oxide layer 2 may be provided by applying a hydrate of the metallic oxide to the base sheet 1 by coating or the like, followed by drying and then sintering by irradiation with laser beams. Then, a pattern layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are formed.
