Abstract: A detergent composition for dry cleaning which comprises (a) a nonionic surfactant, (b) a cyclic polysiloxane and (c) a polyether-modified silicone having a HLB value of 6 or less, in amounts satisfying that, relative to the total amount of the components (a), (b) and (c), the component (a) accounts for 5 to 70 wt %, the sum of the weights of components (b) and (c) is 30 to 95 wt %, and the weight ratio of the components (b) to (c), (b)/(c), is 1/10 to 20/1; and a cleaning solution for dry cleaning using the detergent composition. The detergent composition is excellent in detergency, the capability of preventing re-soiling, and the capability of solubilizing water, is less susceptible to the occurrence of a ring strain in a cloth when a pretreatment agent is used, can impart good softness to a material to be cleaned, and exhibits good stability for a long time.

SOLUTION: The detergent composition for dry cleaning comprises (a) 10-75 mass% of a sulfone group-containing anionic ionic surfactant, (b) 0.5-10.0 mass% of a specific cationic surfactant component, (c) 10-75 mass% of a specific straight-chain and/or cyclic polyorganosiloxane component and (d) 0.1-5.0 mass% of a specific carboxy-modified silicone component having ≤3 HLB value in the content ratio of the component (b) to the component (d) [(b)/(d)] by mass ratio of 20/1-1/5.
