    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-curable cosmetic composition. SOLUTION: This moisture-curable cosmetic composition contains either of the following compounds (i) and (ii) in a non-aqueous medium not containing an unstable hydrogen atom and capable of being accepted as a cosmetic solvent. (i). (a) At least one first compound containing at least two non-blocked reactive functional groups X, and (b) at least one second compound containing at least two blocked reactive functional groups Y which can be unblocked by the action of water to react with the unblocked reactive functional groups X of the compound A. (ii). At least one compound simultaneously containing at least two non-blocked reactive functional groups X and at least two blocked reactive functional groups Y which can be unblocked by the action of water to react with the unblocked reactive functional groups X of the compound A. It is necessary that the average functionality of the system is strictly larger than 2.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film-forming beautifying composition dissolved in an aqueous solvent, and capable of forming film free from stickiness, removable with a common remover comprising acetone and/or ethyl acetate as a base, and exhibiting excellent properties in adhesivity, glossiness and the like. SOLUTION: The beautifying composition contains a dispersoid consisting of polymer particles. The polymer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 35-80 deg.C and the lowest film-forming temperature (MFT) satisfying Tg- MFT>=8 deg.C. The composition contains at least one first organic solvent having a molecular weight of 200 and a boiling point of >=120 deg.C determined under the ambient atmospheric pressure.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nail enamel composition readily spreadable on the nails, capable of entirely coating the nails therewith after a single coating film application onto the nails, and useful for affording the nails with a glossy, uniform and smooth film by including an aqueous dispersion of film-forming polymer particles. SOLUTION: This nail enamel composition having a viscosity of >=2 Pa.s determined at 100 rpm and 23 deg.C is obtained by including an aqueous dispersion of film-forming polymer particles so as to contain an effective amount of at least one kind of coupled polyurethane, pref. at 0.5-5 wt.% based on the whole weight of the composition; wherein the coupled polyurethane is a block or graft polymer divided through a hydrophilic sequence (pref. polyoxyethylene- modified hydrophilic sequence) and containing two 6-30C alkyl chains, and the film-forming polymer is pref. selected from free-radical polymers and polycondensates, etc.
