    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fluid treatment packs which can be used to purify, separate, and/or concentrate a variety of fluids and/or fluid components, easily produced, and reliable.SOLUTION: The fluid treatment packs 10 comprise a porous structure having a tubular configuration and a longitudinal axis. The porous structure has at least one helically extending corrugation 18 including a first porous region 20 and a second porous region 22 extending to the helical or circumferential direction. The first porous region and the second porous region continue one another along one of a helically or circumferentially extending crest 14 and a trough 16. The fluid treatment packs can be collapsed to form nested corrugations, or collapsed or stretched to form non-nested corrugations.

According to another form of the invention, an end connector comprises a split annulus having two circumferential ends. The annulus can be deformed between an expanded state in which the annulus can be fit over the inner support member and a closed state in which the annulus fits sufficiently closely around the inner support member to be sealed to it. According to another form of the invention, an end connector comprises concentric inner and outer sleeves.
