    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to care for the occipital region supported with an occipital region supporter, without leaving an uncared-for part thereof, at time of automatic care of the person's head. In order to achieve the object, an automatic head washing apparatus 11 according to the present invention, is an automatic head care apparatus that cares for a person's head automatically, which has a first end effector 13 and a second end effector 16, and which is controlled by a plurality of modes including: a first mode for rubbing a second region 24 of the occipital region 22 by moving the second end effector 16 in a state in which the first end effector 13 contacts a first region 23 of the occipital region 22 of the person with the first end effector 13 being fixed at a first position; and a second mode for rubbing a first region 23 of the occipital region 22 by moving the first end effector 13 in a state in which the second end effector 16 contacts a second region 24 of the occipital region 22 with the second end effector 16 being fixed at a second position.

    Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide an optical head capable of holding an aberration compensation lens without using electric power, and of making accurate positioning while having a high resistance to earthquakes. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An aberration compensation lens (4) is disposed between a laser light source (3) and an objective lens (5), and a lens holder (10) is friction-joined to a drive shaft (7) through a friction holding body (8). A piezoelectric element (6) is installed at one end of the drive shaft (7). The piezoelectric element (6) is expanded and contracted by applied voltage. The rate of change is caused to differbetween the raising and lowering of voltage applied on the piezoelectric element (6), thereby moving the lens holder (10) relative to the drive shaft (7) axially of the drive shaft.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support body for supporting the back of the head or the neck while applying friction thereto, and to provide an automatic hair washer using the same.SOLUTION: The support body 11 for the back of the head includes: a support part 12 provided at the center thereof with a plurality of slits 22, and for supporting the weight of the head of a human body by abutting on the back of the head or the neck; a sliding part 13 having a plurality of contacts 21 protruding from below the plurality of the slits 22; a drive part 14 at the upper side of which the sliding part 13 is fixed; a guide 15 for vertically movably supporting the drive part 14 from the lower side of the drive part; a base 16 at the top surface of which the guide part 15 is fixed; frames 17 fixed to the base 16, and for supporting both ends of the support part 12 from the lower side of the support part; and a resilient part 18 for resiliently supporting the drive part 14 relative to the base 16. The drive part 14 rocks the slide part 13 such that the plurality of the contacts 21 reciprocates in a longitudinal direction of the slits 22.
