Abstract:
An optical disk is provided that disables reproduction of sub-information even if the sub-information as a contents encryption key is recorded entirely onto another optical disk. Sub-information is recorded on the optical disk by deforming a recording mark slightly in accordance with a pseudo random number sequence that is obtained using as an initial value medium ID that is read out medium inherent information. This allows sub-information inherent in a medium to be recorded, and even if the sub-information is duplicated entirely to another optical disk, the illegally duplicated sub-information cannot be reproduced because of a difference in initial value of a pseudo random number sequence between media.
Abstract:
Only landmark information desired by a user out of a plurality of landmark information transmitted from a map server is displayed. An image capturing apparatus (102) includes: an imaging unit (114) that captures a digital image; a communication unit (112) that obtains a plurality of additional information from a predetermined map server (120) that holds the plurality of additional information each corresponding to an object included in the digital image captured by the imaging unit (114); a display-information extracting unit (113) that selects additional information to be displayed from among the plurality of additional information obtained by the communication unit (112); and an overlaying display processing unit (116) and a display unit (117) that display only the additional information selected by the display-information extracting unit (113) from among the plurality of additional information, to be overlaid on the digital image captured by the imaging unit (114).

Abstract:
The invention provides an information recording device, an information reproducing device, and an information recording medium capable of securely protecting copyright of main information, and preventing illegal access to the recorded main information. The information recording device (3) is provided with a medium unique information generating section (9) that generates second sub information by data-converting stamper unique information based on disc identification information that differs for each optical disc after transferring main information and first sub information from a stamper (1') having the main information and the first sub information recorded therein onto an optical disc (1), and a medium unique information recording section (10) that records the second sub information in the optical disc (1) having recorded therein in advance the main information and the first sub information in a form different from the forms of the main information and the first sub information.
Abstract:
A mobile communication device (98b) includes: an appliance information obtainment unit (98n) that obtains appliance information (98n1) by proximity wireless communication (98c1) with an appliance (98a) installed in a home (99), the appliance information specifying the appliance (98a); a position information obtainment unit (98j) that obtains position information (98j1) of the mobile communication device when the proximity wireless communication (98c1) is performed; and a transmission unit (98o) that transmits transmission information (98o1) to a server (98c) in the case where the proximity wireless communication (98c1) is performed, the transmission information including the appliance information (98n1) and the position information (98j1).
Abstract:
An NFC device according to the present invention includes the following units. An antenna unit (101) receives radio waves from a reader/writer (20) by NFC. A first power source unit (102) generates power from the radio waves. A second power source unit (104) is a drive power source. A power-supply state holding unit (107) holds information indicating a power-supply state of the second power source unit (104). An NFC unit (606) performs NFC via the antenna unit (101) to transmit the information indicating the power-supply state of the second power source unit (104). A power source switch unit (103) switches the second power source unit (104) to the first power source unit (102) according to the power-supply state of the second power source unit (104), in order to supply power to activate at least the NFC unit (606) and the power-supply state holding unit (107). Here, the power source switch unit (103) switches the second power source unit (104) to the first power source unit (102), when the information indicates that the second power source unit (104) is powered OFF.
Abstract:
A terminal apparatus (M101) includes a terminal unit (M201) and a near-field communication unit (M107). The terminal unit (M201) includes a main memory (M106) that stores operation history information of the terminal apparatus (M101) and a controller (M105). The near-field communication unit (M107) includes a communication control unit (M216) that performs near-field communication with the mobile apparatus (M102) and a near-field communication memory (M215). The controller (M105) stores, in the near-field communication memory (M215), at least a part of the operation history information stored in the main memory (M106) when a malfunction of the terminal unit (M201) is detected, and the communication control unit (M216) transmits the operation history information stored in the near-field communication memory (M215) by near-field communication to the mobile apparatus (M102), in accordance with a request from the mobile apparatus (M102).
