    Abstract: Se describe un metodo y aparato para intercalar bits en una primera secuencia. Un metodo ejemplar comprende almacenar un conjunto de valores de desplazamiento en por lo menos una tabla, aplicar en orden cada uno del conjunto de valores de desplazamiento del conjunto para identificar un par de bits adyacente en la primera secuencia de los bits para una nueva secuencia intercalada de los bits e incrementar cada uno el conjunto de valores de desplazamiento hasta que se alcance un limite superior para identificar adicionalmente pares de bits adyacentes adicionales en la primera secuencia de los bits para la nueva secuencia intercalada de los bits. La tabla es significativamente mas corta, requiriendo menos memoria que la utilizada en un intercalador convencional, particularmente un intercalador de GSM para conversacion de media proporcion.

The row of the received block containing the symbol error is then marked as an erased row.
