Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support resource selection and indication for sidelink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling. A transmitting UE determines sidelink resources for bundling a sidelink DMRS transmission to be transmitted to a receiving UE. In sidelink mode 1, the sidelink resources may be determined based on indications from a base station, which may include whether the transmitting UE is to maintain phase continuity over the sidelink resources during the bundling, or whether the transmitting UE is to include a phase jump reference signal with the bundled DMRS transmission to the receiving UE. In sidelink mode 2, the transmitting UE may select the sidelink resources based on the phase continuity capabilities of the transmitting UE and/or of the receiving UE, and/or based on a sensing of the sidelink channel. In some cases, the receiving UE may provide a resource recommendation to the transmitting UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, via first frequency ranges and first time periods, a plurality of sidelink control blocks that each indicate a sidelink positioning reference signal burst pattern for one or more sidelink UEs. The UE may receive, within a second frequency range and during a second time period, a plurality of multiplexed sidelink positioning reference signals from the one or more sidelink UEs in accordance with the sidelink positioning reference signal burst patterns. The UE may determine a position of the UE based at least in part on the receiving of the plurality of multiplexed sidelink positioning reference signals.

Based on the third device being identified, procedures for handing over communications from the second device to the third device may be executed. The procedures may include a beam management procedure, a random-access procedure, a mobility management procedure, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for enabling transitions between half-duplex and full-duplex modes in wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit to a base station a first indication of a switching latency for transitioning between a half-duplex mode and a full-duplex mode. The UE may receive, from the base station in accordance with the first indication of the switching latency, a second indication that the UE is to transition to one of the half-duplex mode or the full-duplex mode. The UE may transition to the half-duplex mode or the full-duplex mode based on receiving the second indication.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, signaling that indicates at least a first random access channel (RACH) occasion (RO) partition and a second RO partition. The first RO partition may be associated with different uplink transmission capabilities than the second RO partition. The UE may select an RO in the first RO partition or the second RO partition based at least in part on a metric that relates to an uplink transmission capability of the UE. The UE may transmit, and the network node may receive, a preamble in the selected RO to initiate a RACH procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for utilizing a sidelink discovery interface to determine a location of a user equipment (UE). An example method for determining a location of a mobile device according to the disclosure includes receiving one or more reference signals transmitted via a first radio access technology, determining measurement values for the one or more reference signals, receiving a discovery signal from a station via a second radio access technology that is different from the first radio access technology, wherein the discovery signal includes and identification value associated with the station, and obtaining the location based at least in part on the measurement values and the discovery signal.
