Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for addressing scenarios where the minimum transmit power supported by a wireless node (e.g., an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node) is above a minimum value specified by a standard. In some cases, the node may signal information regarding its power configuration so a network entity of the may take it into account (e.g., when allocating or scheduling resources). The power configuration may include an indication of the minimum transmit power supported by the node and/or an indication of a guard band that may help the IAB control adjacent channel leakage.

Abstract: In a particular implementation, a method of wireless communication includes detecting, at a first user equipment (UE) corresponding to a first protocol, one or more time slots during which a second UE corresponding to a second protocol is transmitting via a wireless channel. The first protocol is different than the second protocol. The method also includes transmitting, by the first UE, a message via the wireless channel during at least one time slot and according to a pattern based on the detected one or more time slots. The pattern indicates a set of time slots designated as unavailable based on use by one or more UEs corresponding to the second protocol.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to reducing user equipment (UE)-to-UE cross-link interference are provided. A user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a time-division-duplexing (TDD) pattern. The EE may establish a guard band on uplink resources from resources specified in the TDD pattern. Alternatively, the UE may reduce power to uplink resources from the resources specified in the TDD pattern. The UE transmits the resources using a carrier and as specified in the TDD pattern.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for beamforming in environments with angular constraints are described. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) or base station may configure beam parameters based on a sensitivity level of a neighboring wireless device (e.g., a satellite). The configuration of beam parameters may be based on an interference power profile (e.g., threshold(s) indicated by an interference power profile). The interference power profile may specify a mask, which may indicate allowed or unintended directions for transmission or a transmission power mask. A beamformed transmission may be in accordance with the configured beam parameters, which may result in a reduced transmission power in one or more directions, compliance with total power limits, peak power limits, or energy radiated over a period of time, or any combination thereof.

An exemplary method performed by a base station generally includes determining, based on a location of another base station and information regarding the other base station, that the other base station is likely to experience interference while receiving an uplink transmission due to a downlink transmission by the base station and forming a null in a beam of the downlink transmission in a direction matching the location of the other base station.
