Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first signal associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and receive a second signal associated with a second RAT. In some aspects, the UE may include one or more receiver chains associated with the first RAT and at least one receiver chain associated with the second RAT. The UE may couple, via one or more switches and based at least in part on respective energy levels associated with the first signal and the second signal satisfying one or more conditions, an output from a front end of the at least one receiver chain associated with the second RAT to the one or more receiver chains associated with the first RAT. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus are described for reducing power consumption when performing wireless communications by dynamically changing the frequency of a local oscillator signal for a radio frequency (RF) downconversion circuit, based on signal conditions. An example method includes receiving an RF signal and downconverting the RF signal using an oscillating signal with a first frequency at a first time. The method also includes switching to downconverting the RF signal using the oscillating signal with a second frequency, based on a property associated with the RF signal at a second time. The second frequency is a subharmonic of the first frequency.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes identifying a region in which the UE is located and selecting a first maximum power reduction value associated with the region. The method further includes determining a transmit power for a signal based at least in part on the selected first maximum power reduction value and transmitting the signal at the transmit power.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to techniques and apparatus for operating a wireless receiver of the apparatus in a high linearity mode. An example method includes operating the apparatus in a first mode with transmission of a plurality of transmit signals. The method also includes attenuating a received signal via an attenuator while operating the apparatus in the first mode. The method further includes amplifying the attenuated signal with an amplifier while operating the apparatus in the first mode. For certain aspects, the method further involves operating the apparatus in a second mode, bypassing the attenuator while operating the apparatus in the second mode, and amplifying the received signal with the amplifier while operating the apparatus in the second mode.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication, by a user equipment (UE), includes computing a transmit power at a first port in response to a received forward detected power measured at a third port. The method also includes computing a return loss of an antenna at a second port in response to a received reflection value measured at a fourth port. The method further includes estimating a cable loss based on a difference between a device output power and the computed transmit power at the first port. The method also includes adjusting a transmit power at the second port according to the estimated cable loss and/or the computed return loss.

The apparatus selects a scanning bandwidth for scanning for SSBs from cells on a band based on at least one of the particular band or a bandwidth of the band. The apparatus scans for the SSBs on the band with the selected scanning bandwidth.
