Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive positioning assistance data from a location server, wherein the positioning assistance data identifies one or more first positioning reference signal (PRS) resources for measurement by the UE during a positioning session between the UE and a location server. The UE may receive post-measurement positioning assistance data from at least one sidelink device located within a threshold distance to the UE, wherein the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device is based on measurements of one or more second PRS resources obtained by the at least one sidelink device during a positioning session of the at least one sidelink device. The UE may selectively measure at least a subset of the one or more first PRS resources based on the post-measurement positioning assistance data received from the at least one sidelink device.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a position estimation entity (e.g., UE, gNB, LMF, etc.) identifies a pool of UEs for a SL-assisted position estimation procedure of a set of target UEs. SL SRS-Ps are communicated (e.g., transmitted and measured) between the pool of UEs (e.g., for relative SL ranging). UL SRS-Ps are communicated by at least some of the UEs in the pool of UEs. The position estimation entity obtains measurement data for both the SL SRS-P and UL-SRS-P communications. The position estimation entity determines a position estimate for each UE in the set of UEs based on the measurement information.

The method generally includes receiving, from a network entity, a downlink control information (DCI) allocating resources in an unlicensed frequency band for multiple physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmissions to at least one receiver UE across transmission time intervals (TTIs), performing a listen-before-talk (LET) channel access procedure in the TTIs, and transmitting at least one LET report to the network entity on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource that occurs before another PUCCH resource used for transmitting acknowledgment feedback for the PSSCH transmissions.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for relaying and sidelink communication are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a BS via a controlled discovery procedure, a query to verify a sidelink procedure with at least one UE. The example method may further include establishing, via the BS as a L2 relay, the sidelink procedure with the at least one UE. The example method may further include switching from the sidelink procedure to a sidelink PDCP procedure with a hybrid mode, the BS being an L2 relay for the sidelink PDCP procedure. The example method may further include transmitting to the at least one UE via the BS as the L2 relay, or receiving, from the at least one UE via the BS as an L2 relay, one or more PDCP PDUs corresponding to L2.

The first UE may configure a layer one uplink control message to indicate the channel state information report according to the format. The first UE may transmit, based at least in part on the format, the layer one uplink control message to a base station indicating the channel state information report.

The first UE may receive the sidelink transmission from the second UE. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE, the feedback message using the second resource configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications networks, a first wireless device may transmit sidelink control information to a second wireless device, which includes a first scheduling for an uplink transmission by a second wireless device during a first slot. The second wireless device may decode the sidelink control information to determine an operating mode of the first wireless device during the first slot, such as a transmitting mode or a receiving mode. Based on the operating mode, the second wireless device may drop or delay the uplink transmission. In some cases, the first wireless device may schedule an uplink transmission to be performed by the second wireless device during a second slot, and the first wireless device may switch from a transmitting mode to a receiving mode in order to receive the scheduled uplink transmission from the second wireless device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) may monitor and perform blind decoding for a sidelink transmission, such as a first part of sidelink control information (SCI), from a second UE over a configured search space. The first UE may receive signaling indicating an update to the search space via lower layer signaling, such as via a second part of SCI or a sidelink data channel, and may monitor for the sidelink transmission over the updated search space. The update to the search space may indicate a blocking of one or more monitoring occasions from the configured search space, an addition of one or more monitoring occasions to the configured search space, a reactivation of one or more previously blocked monitoring occasions, or a switching from a first search space to a second search space.
