Abstract: One or more aspects of the technical solutions described herein facilitate using transdermal infrared optics to discover infraspectral markers. The infraspectral markers can predict presence/absence of one or more physiological state in a subject. One or more aspects of the technical solutions described herein further facilitate continuous monitoring and prediction of trends of a physiological state of a subject using non-invasive transdermal infrared optics. Further, one or more aspects of the technical solutions described herein facilitate personalized triage of and alerts for a subject based on continuous monitoring of non-invasive transdermal optical infraspectral markers.

Abstract: Aspects of the invention include a computer-implemented method that includes generating an intermediate ECG vector representation and an intermediate optical sensor vector representation. The intermediate ECG vector representation and the intermediate optical sensor vector representation is translated to a joint representation in a vector space. The similarities detected between the electrocardiogram (ECG) data and optical sensor data from the joint vector space representation. Features that are indicative of an ischemic disease of a patient are extracted from the joint vector space representation based at least in part on the detected similarities. The ischemic disease of the patient is detected based at least in part on the extracted features.

Abstract: As described herein, a system includes an optical sensor, and a controller that detects progression of obstructive coronary artery disease using a sensor signal from the optical sensor. For example, the system is used for detecting an occlusion in a cardiovascular system of a user. A computer-implemented method for detecting the occlusion includes generating a light within a predetermined spectral range, the light directed towards a reflective element at a predetermined angle. The method further includes receiving a reflected light caused by a reflection of the light off of a reflecting element that is in contact with the user's epidermis. The method further includes detecting a concentration of a predetermined biomarker in a biofluid in the cardiovascular system based on variations in amplitude of the reflected light. The method further includes determining an occlusion in the cardiovascular system based on the concentration of the predetermined biomarker.

Abstract: A personalized assistance system includes an infrasensor device adapted to collect input data from a subject. A controller is configured to receive the input data from the infrasensor device. The controller has a processor and tangible, non-transitory memory on which instructions are recorded and is adapted to selectively execute one or more machine learning modules. Execution of the instructions by the processor causes the controller to extract one or more inframarkers from the input data. The controller is configured to determine respective changes in the inframarkers in real-time, including deviations from a respective baseline measurement customized for the subject. The controller is configured to determine at least one recommendation based in part on the inframarkers and the respective changes, via the one or more machine learning modules. The recommendation is executed when a predefined threshold is met.
