Abstract: A terminal feedthrough (100) is provided. The terminal feedthrough (100) includes a terminal pin insert (102) having a pair of ends. A polymeric body (106) having an externally threaded region (108) is disposed about the terminal pin insert (102) to form an interface (132) with the terminal pin insert (102). At least one of threads of the externally threaded region (108) and a cylindrical pin interface (132) is configured to provide a flame-quenching pathway.
