Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device for the series production of glass panels, using nominal data defining a curved reference glass panel and tolerance ranges accepted for said nominal data, in which the glass panels in series are each curved and provided with at least one tooled string rim having one or more inserts by means of encapsulation. Moreover, for each glass panel in the series, the configuration of at least (i) the mould cavity, (ii) the glazed element or (iii) the insert(s) does not correspond to the dimensions for the reference panel. According to the invention, the resulting glass panels in series have a curve that corresponds to that of the reference glass panel while respecting the tolerance ranges.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device (1) for fixing an ornamental profiled section (2) on a portion of a shaped band (3) mounted on a glazing (4) and in particular on at least part of the periphery of the glazing, said device comprising at least one rigid clip (5) having at least one upstream co-operating part A designed to allow co-operation with said shaped band (3) and a downstream co-operating part B designed to allow co-operation with said ornamental profiled section (2). The invention is characterized in that said upstream co-operating part A comprises at least one projecting male element (6) or a hollow female element, said element co-operating respectively with a corresponding hollow female element (7) or a projecting male element provided in the shaped band (3), said hollow female element (7) having inner dimensions at least partly smaller to the outer dimensions of said projecting male element (6).

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an abutment connection using a connector (2) of two hollow ends of profiles (10, 11), the inside of which is made of a synthetic material, wherein the connector comprises a hollow body (20) with a central portion (21) and two wings (22, 23) of a synthetic material respectively engaging the hollow ends of the profiles and comprising anchoring means (28, 29, 30, 31) capable of maintaining said hollow ends in place about the connector, characterised in that the anchoring means (30, 31) of the connector are made of a synthetic material and in that one at least of the anchoring means (30, 31) is flexible and generates friction against the inside of the hollow ends of the profiles (10, 11).
Abstract:
The device has a rigid clip (5) presenting an upstream cooperating part (A) to cooperate the clip with a band section (3) and a downstream cooperating part (B) to cooperate the clip with a trim section (2). The part (A) has a projecting male unit (6) or a hollow female unit, respectively cooperating with a hollow female unit (7) or a projecting male unit arranged in the band section. The hollow female units have inner dimensions partially lesser than outer dimensions of the projecting male units. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a trim section integrating a clip for a fixing device (2) a glazing comprising a fixing device.
Abstract:
A method and a device for mass-production of window glazings using nominal data defining a reference window glazing that is curved, and permissible tolerance bands for these nominal data, in which the mass-produced window glazings are each curved and each includes at least one profiled strip including at least one insert by encapsulation. In a production run, for each window glazing of the production run, at least i) the molding cavity of the mold, or ii) the glazed element, or iii) the insert or inserts, is not of a configuration that corresponds to the dimensions for the reference window glazing. The mass-produced window glazings produced have a curvature that corresponds to that of the reference window glazing within the tolerance bands.
