    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively put a diaper even on a grownup person. SOLUTION: Belts 9 and 9' attached or intended to be attached to a back part 6 and a front part 5 of the absorbent article such as a diaper are provided, the belts form a part of a waist part of an underwear, and they have outer sides 11 and 11' and inner sides 12 and 12' intended to directly contact a user. The belts include a first belt half body 9 and a second belt half body 9' and they are permanently attached to a top sheet in coupling areas 13 and 13' of the inner sides 12 and 12' by their one end parts. The attaching method is a method where the belt half bodies 9 and 9' remain substantially flat along their overall lengths when they are mutually overlapped and contraposed to the top seat and a method where coupling parts 14 and 14' formed in the coupling areas are pressed outward in a direction separating from the user when the absorbent article is used.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous long-sized material web conveying device easily adapted to various operating states in spite of relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: Upper reaches guide means 4, 5 and lower reaches guide means 8, 9 arranged in a long-sized material web conveying device provided with a conveying means for conveying material web at constant speed along a conveying path, are moved in relation to each other in order to impart sinusoidal fluctuation of speed to the material web in an intermediate position. The respective guide means are fitted to be eccentrically rotatable so as to move substantially in a continuous state between the maximum part length position of the material web and a position where the minimum part length of the material web is temporarily supported by the guide means. The upper reaches guide means 4, 5 move in the opposite direction to the lower reaches guide means 8, 9 at equal speed so that the length of the material web is substantially constant between the upper reaches and lower reaches guide means.
