Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect an object position with high accuracy and without being influenced by temperature and time aging, by comparing the outputs of the first and the second photodetecting means by a movement of an object to be detected, by a comparing means. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 3 and photodetectors 2A, 2B are placed oppositely by placing a moving path of an object to be detected 10 between them. When the object 10 moves in the direction as indicated with an arrow, the photodetecting quantity of the photodetector 2A is varied in proportion to the movement of the object 10 functioning as a photointerrupter. The photodetector 2B is placed so as to photodetect a prescribed light quantity during photodetecting of 2A. Outputs of photodetectors 2A, 2B are inputted to a comparator 7 through operational amplifiers 6A, 6B. A displacement point where an output of the comparator 7 is inverted by movement of the object 10 is detected as a position of the object 10. The photodetectors 2A, 2B photodetect the light of the same light emitting element 3, therefore, a position can be measured with high accuracy and without being influenced by temperature characteristics of the light emitting element 3 and time aging.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of the discrimination of the normal/defective condition of a semiconductor element. CONSTITUTION: The prescribed inspection items of all the elements belonging to a lot are measured and the measured values are stored by making them correspond to the elements by 1 to 1 (S4). For each inspection item, a prescribed statistic value is calculated from the measured value stored in the memory (S8). From preliminarily set discrimination reference value and statistic value, a discrimination reference value showing the reference of the normal/defective condition of the element is calculated (S9). By matching the measured value stored in the memory and the discrimination reference value, the discrimination of the normal/defective condition of the element corresponded to the measured value is performed (S10).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the mistaken detection of a travel state by providing two detection means detecting the way that a travel body runs, comparing their detected outputs and alternately switching the output level of a comparison means when the levels of the two detected outputs become the same. CONSTITUTION:A high reflectance part 31 and a low reflectance part 32 are alternately arranged at the same interval on the periphery of a rotating disk 30 being the travel body. Light projected on the disk 30 from an LED 34 is reflected by a detection pattern 33, and makes incident on photodiodes 23 and 26. Operational amplifiers 22 and 25 convert the output currents of the diodes 23 and 26 into voltages V3 and V4, which a comparator 28 compares. When the levels of the voltages V3 and V4 become the same, the comparator 28 alternately switches the level of an output V5, and gives it as a rotation signal to a drive circuit 35. It controls an input current from a power source 36 in accordance with the signal V5, and drives a motor 37. With this constitution, the rates of changes in the outputs of the two detection means are the same, and a mistaken detection is eliminated. Said changes are caused by the soil of a detection area, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To transmit light with high illuminance to the automatic white balance module without conducting heat, generated by a light source, to the automatic white balance module by providing an optical path selecting means and forming a low-illuminance or high-illuminance measurement optical path. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting and guiding function body 17 and a condenser lens 19 in a 1st transmission line 20 is interposed by the optical path selecting means between a 2nd transmission line 21 and a 3rd transmission line 24. The light emitted by the light source is converged by the condenser lens 18 in the 1st transmission line 20, passed through the light transmitting and guiding function body 17, and converged again by the condenser lens 19 to become parallel light. Thus, the optical path selecting means is provided, so the 1st transmission line 20 or 2nd transmission line 21 is selected according to measurement conditions to form the low-illuminance or high-illuminance measurement optical path with the 3rd transmission line 20, thereby transmitting the high-illuminance light to the automatic white balance module without conducting the heat generated by the light source to the automatic white balance module.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust a gain in a wide range by setting an optical coupling device at a predetermined detecting condition and adapting a control unit such that data is inputted sequentially into a switching element selecting means from a data input means based on external signals while an output of the optical coupling device is monitored by an operational amplifier and a comparator. CONSTITUTION:In a control unit 15, a data input means 16 converts external signals into input data sequentially and a switching element selecting means 18 makes one of switching elements Q1-Q16 conduct according to the input data for selecting one of gain adjusting resistances R1-R16 corresponding thereto. A record calling means 19 makes a data storage means 17 record the data inputted when an object to be detected 24 comes into a detected state (e.g. high-level state) and guides the recorded data to the switching element selecting means 18. Thereafter, one of the switching elements Q1-Q16 conducts according to the data recorded in the data storage means 17 so that one of the gain adjusting resistances R1-R16 corresponding thereto can be fixed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure an output of a tilt sensor to the angular change of reflecting plates at one time by arranging a table relatively movable to the aligning direction of said reflecting plates and setting said reflecting plates at different angles. CONSTITUTION:A supporting body 25 is fitted into a mounting hole 13, and a tilt sensor 12 is supported from below by an elastic body 27b placed in a groove 25b of the supporting body 25. The sensor 12 is connected to an output measuring device by a contact pin 56. Reflecting plates 17-20 which are calibrated at respective predetermined angles to a black body and a reference surface C of the main body are sequentially moved to confront to the sensor 12. A dark current of the sensor 12 and an output current of the sensor 12 when it confronts to reflecting plates 17-20 are measured. Consequently, a sensor 12 which can be employed for detection of a tilt angle is selected by comparing the output current, dark current and allowable data. Since a table 16 is rendered movable relatively to the aligning direction of the reflecting plates 17-20 which are set respectively at different angles, an output of the tilt sensor to the angular change of each reflecting plate can be measured at one time.

The light emitted from a light emitting element (LED)1 is detected by the elements 2A, 2B. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the detection sensitivity dispersion of photo-interruptors, without depending on the adjusting accuracy of the adjuster by series connecting a light emitting element combined with a photo-detecting element to form the photo-interruptor to a variable resistor and fixed resistor. SOLUTION: A transmission type photo-interruptor 1 has a photo detecting element 3 for receiving a light from a light emitting element 2. To adjust the forward current IF flowing in the element 2, a current adjusting variable resistor RV 4 is series connected to a forward current monitoring fixed resistor R 5 at the element 2. The interruptor 1 has four terminals Vcc 6, Vout 7, GND 8 and monitoring 14. The photo-detecting element has three terminals Vcc 6, Vout 7 and GND 8. This permits the detection sensitivity to be adjusted with monitoring the current flowing in the light emitting element.
