Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically and accurately set a wavelength to a peak position, by stopping the wavelength scanning of a spectrophotometer when a peak is detected by the wavelength scanning. CONSTITUTION:A specimen to be measured is put in a specimen cell 2 and the wavelength of a spectrum peak thereof is inputted by a keyboard 9. CPU6 performs wavelength scanning to lambda-DELTAlambda of an input dispaly wavelength by the peak detecting program stored in ROM8 and thereafter performs pulse drive to lambda+DELTAlambda and takes in the output of a light detector 3 through an AD converter 4 and an input output port 7 to perform peak detection. When the peak is detected, wavelength scanning is stopped and the output of the light detector 3 at this time is printed by a printer 11 or stored in RAM5 along with the wavelength set by an operator. Therefore, a peak wavelength is automatically and accurately set.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a spectrophotometer wherein ranges are automatically set appropriately, by setting the range of a recorder so that the maximum and minimum values of spectrums, which are detected from the memorized data of the measured value for every wavelength within a specified wavelength region, are accomodated just right within the upper and lower limits of the recorder, and reading and recording the stored data. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 2 positions a spectrophotometer at one end of the specified wavelength region to be measured. From this position, wavelength scanning is started. The measured value of the optical spectrum is sampled every time the wavelength is increased by a specified wavelength width, and AD conversion is performed. The result is sequentially stored in an RAM3. When the spectrophotometer reaches the other end of the wavelength region to be measured, the wavelength increase of the spectrophotometer is stopped. Then, the measured data of the spectrum stored in the RAM3 are sequentially read out, and the maximum and minimum values are detected. The central processing unit selects the range of a recorder 6 from the maximum and minimum values, sequentially reads the data of the spectrum stored in the RAM3, and makes the recorder 6 to record the spectrum in the selected range.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the heating of a pulse motor driving the motor at the operating starting time to detect an origin, discriminating the excited state of the motor at the detecting time to decide the origin of the operation, thereby reducing the power consumption during standby. CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch is closed, a load 7 is raised along a guide 8 to close a limit switch 9. That is, an origin is detected. On the other hand, a CPU11 sequentially reads out the drive data of an ROM12, thereby rotating a pulse motor 2 through the driver 13. In case that the exciting phase when the switch 9 is closed is one, it is used as an origin as it is, but in case that the exciting phase is two, the motor 2 is inverted in one pulse, and the point, i.e., one phase excitation point is used as an origin. Then, when a start switch 10 is depressed, the CPU11 controls to lower the load 7 in the value set by a digital switch 14 along the guide 8.

CONSTITUTION:This antibody insolubilizing carrier 1 comprising allowing the surface thereof to immobilize, for example, an anti-insulin antibody through physical adsorption is reacted with a specimen and subsequently with a peroxidase labelled insulin antibody in an immune reaction container 4 to perform two-stage immune reaction and, thereafter, B/F separation is performed as shown by B in the drawing by the removal of the reaction solution 5 and the washing of the carrier 1. Next, this carrier 1 is moved to an enzymatic reaction container 7 but, in this case, an electromagnet 6 is inserted into the reaction container 1 in an ON-state, the carrier 1 is simply taken out by the attraction action of the electromagnet 6 and the ferromagnetic material 3 in the carrier 1 as shown by C-E and, by turning the electromagnet 6 OFF as shown by F, the carrier 1 can be simply introduced into the enzymatic reaction container 7.
