Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare a report with an optional form by simple operation of an operator by inputting an ordinary simple code with arrangement in accordance with a display pattern to each cell of a frame to fit the display pattern. CONSTITUTION:When the titled processor is started, an initial menu appears on a CRT screen and the operator selects one number out of the menu. At this time, the frame appears on a CRT and one of each cell consisting of a row and the side in this frame is selected by key operation. Then, in case of analyzing a sample, instructions of analytic operation appear on the CRT at an initial menu stage and titled data input is required and an analytic action is started by this input. Then, a CPU reads out the titled data of a prescribed address of an analytic data memory 2 and inserts these in a prescribed blank in a table memory 4 and prepares the analytic report according to the report form from a table file 7.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the processing flow of a Japanese inputting system, by inputting the KANA (Japanese syllabary) character 'un' by using a specific character key other than alphabetic keys. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 is provided with a Roman character inputting buffer 3 for temporarily storing alphabetic characters inputted from a keyboard 1 and KANA inputting buffer 4, in which KANA characters inputted directly from the keyboard 1 or converted from Roman characters from the Roman character inputting buffer 3. When Japanese words are inputted by using Roman characters with this processor, the 'Yen' key is used for inputting the KANA character 'UN' and KANA characters of 'NA' series are inputted by combining the 'N' key and vowel keys. Since a specific key other than alphabetic keys is used for inputting the 'UN', one time of key operation is sufficient to input the 'UN' and the 'UN' can easily be distinguished from the KANA characters of 'NA' series by a simple operation. Moreover, since no distinguishing operation is required between the character 'UN' and characters of 'NA' series, the whole program can be simplified.
